Now thats funny the new final fantasys have stratagy where, on how to better move your eyesite and ajust to all the watchable scenes,lol .....nice......

i mean the post says stratagys for final fantasy, im refering to the new generation of final fantasys , you dont need strategy to beat it, just sit back and watch ...

Ah I get what you mean now. Yeah I remember with FF II you had to use more stragedy. Like one cave you couldnt wear any metalic armor so you had to equip yourself with weaker armor, and to defeat the boss you needed to use the bio (was called virus back then I think) to infect the wall. I also miss the 5 characters on the screen instead of 3.
Although you and I can beat these games easily since we are experienced, I believe that all of the today's games are totally based on money. Although that was always the important factor, now it seems as though the money comes first then the story and gameplay are involved. As long as a game is for all audiences (easy gameplay) then more people will buy it and that seems to be their main concern now. Games like Quake are not liked by many because it requires skill, so I think that the FF series was changed to make it so that the noobs can enjoy it more.
History repeats itself so hopefully game developers will care more about creating a quality fun game with the oldschool stragedy and gameplay instead of creating good looking cutscenes and hyping the games to get everyone to buy it.

exactly, you couldnt have said it better. i like quake 1,2 the originals the tournament ones are ok but thats just what they are for fast shootem kill em, i like unreal 2 the awakening for xbox, i played the unreal championship,tournaments, not as good as unreal 2, more stratagey. have you played a game called Painkiller for pc, soon xbox another doom type game awesome

Listen I agree some of the games that come out now are all rated E for everyone but there are still some games that require strategy like FFX-2 reason being is Gameplay you have puzzles to figure out and mysteries to solve not like in FFX yes that was EASY play but X-2 isnt as easy matter of fact its a royal pain in the arse.
So until you have played these game shut your trap and sit down boy. :wink

Cool I havent played painkiller but I have heard of it I may check it out sometime when I have the time.

Ah, that dungeon was absolutely brilliant. FFII was one of the series' high points, with it's epic story, challenging dungeons, and hardcore bosses(such as Wyvern with his stupid first-turn MegaNuke). FFV was tough because of two reasons: A couple of guys named Omega and Shinryuu. Man, these are arguably the toughest FF bosses ever. Neo X-Death was pretty tough, because you had four targets to take out, each with 50,000+ HP. FFVII? Ruby and Emerald. FFX-2? Uh..I'm not quite sure. That game was probably just made for a really quick buck, and didn't have any challenging aspects to it. Hopefully Square won't screw up with FFXII, or else we'll have to sic EvilWall on them.

I Love Having To Fight Against Incredable Odds And Winning. Like In FF6, I Killed Ultima Weapon Against Odds... I Forgot To Equipt My People, So I Said "F**K IT!!" And Ended Up Killing Him By Magic Power Alone.  Oh... The Good Old Days...

Final Fantasy is a game for noobs but at some stages u need to take precautions such as fighting Yu Yevon or Fighting Braska's final aeon

quite correct and also u have to fight Yunalesca and Lord Zaon again but this time Yunalesca turns into one of those petrifieing monstas and Zaon turns into Nemesis...So frkn hard
