Game companies have been trying to shut down that site for years because it sold stuff used for emulation. I'm not surprised that someone finally managed to do it. It's unfortunate, but also a fact that in the end, all the big gaming companies care only about getting our money. They don't care about respecting people, other companies, or even making a good product. They only care about their profit margin.

In a way that DOES have something to od with the dicussion for you care as much about the topic as they care about our respect. I hate rushed projects and useally they do that with games and consoles (360 and final fantasy 13 for PS)
