thoughts everyone.
im not really sure if this is wise, but if their figures are right (10-1 of all ps3 consumers went with the 60gb version) then i guess its okay. weird that as microsoft just let out the new 360 version that sony drops a version. they so crazy.

In the UK we never got a choice of the 20gb version. 60gb only.
Sony loses more money on the 20gb than the 60gb but I would have thought it would be a good move for them to keep the 20gb. This is because with the elite 360 being $479 (I think) it made a $500 PS3 look like good value. Now it can't be brought people may choose MS elite 360 because the $600 PS3 is just too much.

if i was compelled to buy one of them right now, id go with the 360 without a doubt. ps3 doesnt have the games i want right now.
i think a lot of people are thinking that way as opposed to the extra $100 they would have to put out. if you are spending that much id get the top of the line anyway prolly.

Im thinking of going for the 360 aswell. Forza 2 is out next month which looks like a Gran Turismo beater to me and I have Gran Turismo 2,3 and 4. I think Forza is a nice change because of having new tracks to drive on. Theres also Mass Effect in June and these 2 games along with many already out may get me to buy the 360.

Don't forget about bioshock and the Halo3 beta. that comes out may 10. just around the corner. plus, GoW kicks halo's ass in my opinion. Halo is always about jumping and shooting and has almost no strategy, unlike gears, in which you must go from cover to cover and try to flank the enemy. Bungie betteer make H3 pretty well or they will lose some customers.

Ive never even played Halo. Im probably the only person considering buying a 360 not for Halo. I did see the new trailer though and I was quite impressed with how the multiplayer looked and the graphics were decent. Could have been better but it was an alpha build.
I have played Gears though and it was just amazing to look at and it is a very original game. As for Bioshock FPS arent my favourite genre but I like that the game combined RPG elements with a FPS.
