What nintendo needs to do is start introducing new games.
they have the classic games DOWN. mario and zelda those are a winning combo, but they need to absorb another company that makes primum games.
i duno. with the revolution being so... different. nintendo just might attract developers attention with the desire to make a different game.

if they are to do that then they have to change the way people percieve nintendo cause thats what nintendo have done best and are most known for like mc donlds for fast food (it would take alot to change it to a chemist or a liquer store cause people dont accociate the name with either of them) i agree nintendo need to get fresh with ideas but they have to ease into it cause think about it off the top of your head what games can you think of that are on the lets say game cube system
metroid series
mario series's
kirby series
zelda series
pokemon series
did i mention mario series's
see its not easy to accociate nintendo with other games same with x box
halo 1 & 2
morowind series
and hundreds of thousands of raceing games
ps2
crash bandicoot series
ff series (ohh yeah)
dynasty warrior series
and a massive collection of sports games
see its not easy to re-define what you are known for the only way you can do it is gradually or by haveing a clean slate (new console to work on) but yeah if they wanted to mix it up a bit than why not shake together what they are known for and filter out something different... like a compleatly new concept like (insert idea here) but yeah

Yes however Mcdonalds isn't ranked last in the fast food chain so that is why they do not need to change. Plus all Nintendo has to do is win the support of other developers, their main loss is their unwillingness to create hardware that developers can easily develop games on. If you are a developer and had a choice to create an exclusive game for a console with millions of owners and simple to program for, or a choice with a console with only die hard Nintendo fans and a complicated setup which the extra work would mean less profits, you would choose the latter.
Nintendo can keep their same style and if they would just make it easier for developers to create games on their consoles and get with the times then they will have something working for them. I want Nintendo to do well but they seem to keep repeating the same mistakes that are clearly visible to them.
