I agree and that is my thought on why Nintendo will always fall behind in the game sales department. No casual gamer is going to but another Nintendo console to replace their Wii.
Also by todays standards. The processors (maybe not the PS3) and videocards and the amount of available RAM in the 360 and PS3 make them garbage. For the time they were okay. They could have put in more RAM and better videocards but that mean higher price and you can only have so high a console price before you lose a lot of fan base.
Good news about PSN. American (for sure hopefully Canadian as well) will get X days as Playstation Plus users, where X = number of days PSN was down.
So cheap minis and games!

I heard it was a motnh of free? And that is amazing, may have to DL the FF series..since there is NO BACKWARDS COMPATIBILITY ON THE SLIM! >:-O
*sighs*
anyway...If you see a game like MGS4, that is in insane visuals..and No lag at all. That is a powerful PS3 game. Seems like it would take a pretty powerful GFX card to run it, and a good amount of RAM.

Most if not all games are limited not by the console's hardware but by the software that runs it. If the devs are * at coding for the PS3 it shows. Since MGS4 was a 1st party game, the best devs were working on it.
PS1 games work on the PS3 no matter the version. You cannot DL any PS2 FF games because they cannot be emulated by PS3 video controller. Not enough bandwidth to handle it. PS2 was beast in that area.

Ok, my opinion comes into play. Haters are gonna hate the 360, but it is simply superior to Sony in its game department. MS now has FF games, so Sony cannot claim that, in addition, Nintendo has FF games that are rather fun to play.
The 360 has more games available that have some replay value and are actually good games. Sure, the PS3 has better graphic potential, but Live is superior in my opinion and the mass of games gives it more choices to fit whatever your desire for gaming.
Sony alienated me with their high cost and selfish ******** for support. They wouldn't give me a straight answer and sent me on my way without help. Nintendo and MS have good support that will tell you what needs done.
As for monopoly laws, they could merge and still be fine since Wal Mart would be the retail equivalent of the Sony, MS, and Nintendo merger, yet Wal Mart isn't breaking monopoly laws.
Is everything covered? Seems so.

Wal-Mart isn't the same... There are tons of other retailers in the world so Wal-mart doesn't have a monoply over the retail industry.
Sony, Nintendo and MS are the only 3 choices for console gaming. Monopoly laws would come into play.
I won't respond to your 360 rant, because I could go on forever and at this point it's useless arguing a difference of opinion.

MS has FF13...Ninttendo has more side FFs..Like Crystal Chronicles..(Which is a little too cartoony for me.). Also has Tactics Advanced..Which is really not fun on Gameboy. It has others, that i really don't know of.
Live is superior, I never said it wasn't...Everyone knows Live is a better internet experience then Sony, except Sony fanboys...But no one listens to fanboys/girls because they are the most close minded of people.
MS is way more Greedy. Developers are forced to make things cost MS Points. (Valve, creators of Portal, Half-Life, Team Fortress) Wanted to update the xbox version of Team Fortress 2 (in The Orange Box), but MS Said they needed to charge...Valve did not want to charge, so they pretty much said " F U!".
PS3 Supports Steamworks, allowing me to link my Steam profile and my PSN profile..So my Portal 2 stast go on Steam, along with a PC version of the game. Thanks Sony =D...(when the PSN is backup, this will effect me more though >:[ ),
Xbox is charging me an extra 10 dollars for bullcrap I am not gonna use...The only extra feature i use on my Xbox is Netflix...Which i pay individually for, anyway. Hulu Plus, ESPN, Last.fm..Id o not need, or care about in the least. They should have plans, because Why should i pay for features I ma not using? That is a load of garbage.
Support is not all that useful, we have the internet...I find allot of solutions on there. I never had to call in support for either Sony or MS...or Nintendo. (I did have a terrible Blizzard support experience once, though.)
@Mabus- Yeah, I Downloaded Silent Hill and MGS1 when i first got my PS3. But I didn't know my discs could play! That is awesome! =D. I tested with RE1, it worked..That makes me happy =D.

MS and Sony offer the same style of games. MS does not really have an upper hand on the style f games...yOU ARE COMPARING TO MANY DIFFERENT THINGS...you GO FROM REPLAY VALUE, TO BETTER GRAPHICS SUPPORT TO BETTER LIVE..Sorry for the caps, i accidentally hit caps lock. lol.
To break that down..In terms of exclusives and replay value, I do not know to many xbox games that offer new things when you replay though it, that ARE EXCLUSIVE...PS3 Exclusives seem to be good with replay value, MGS, GoW, etc.
Now, In terms of graphics, Sony wins due to the Blu-Ray. (FF13 is one disc, on 360 it is 3.)
And are you comparing good games from the 360 to good games from the PS3? If they are for both consoles, it doesn't really matter (unless it is Steamworks, then PS3 all the way.)
I think i covered everything, sorry for that rant. LOL.

Glad I could help a little. PS1 games the PSP can handle lol. I would shudder to think the PS3 not being able to PS1 games. But yeah some PS1 games are worth putting in. Especially the one with Chrono Trigger on it. Antholigies I think it is. or something else I always get the ones with FFV/FFVI and Chrono Trigger/FFV I think it is.
