SO, Nintendo is unveiling it's new system....
At this E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo), Nintendo is releasing the info on there new system.
Things It Should Have:
HD
Better Internet
Better Controller
Bette Games (aside from the Mario and Zelda games everyone will by, FFS >.>)
Better Controls, in general...Let's face it..Nintendo controller, though the most diverse, are also the worst. WTF is with hat Z Stick anyway on the GameCube controller ?
What else?
Oh, games that appeal to more core/hardcore gamers.
Nintendo is known for there family games, but that only goes so far. Instead of focusing on ONE section of gaming, focus on many. Broader audience, more diversity, more money.
Sure, Nintendo has Zelda, Mario, Kirby(never was a fan of The Kirb), but where is at least one hardcore title? PS3 has games like Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy, God Of War, etc.
Microsoft has Gears of War, Halo, and so on.
Games that are super challenging, or have some competitive ways to play (online versus, tactical team based game-play.)
Nintendo needs to up there game if they wanna stay in the game...industry...See what I did there? HA...*ahem* I digress..
I watch all three press conferences on G4 every year, even Nintendo, (who I don't ever expect to excite me, although they do have a game or two I wanna play.)...Now when I watch a Sony Or Microsoft Press conference, I am on the edge of my seat.
Let's face it, the only time people get excited over a preview of Nintendo is if there is a little Italian plumber involved, a big ass gorilla, a pink blob of..idk what and a Robin Hood look alike who keeps saving the same *beep* all the time.I mean don't get me wrong, Mario and Zelda are great titles (along with muh dude DK) but how much till people say "That's enough, make something new."?
Point is- Opinions? Speculations? Excitement? Hopes? Dreams?

haha. I just got a Wii on Christmas. LOL!
And the console will come out end of next year (holiday season, 'course), as far as everyone knows, and Nintendo has said.
The thing abouto ne giant console, is that..well..let's say Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft decide to get buddy-buddy, and make a uni-console...How long would that last until another publisher comes out and makes a new console, to compete?
Sadly, we have many choices when it comes to things. That is the really good, and bad thing about competition. Good thing is- The prices are controlled.
IF they made ONE console, the price would be outrageous, most likely. It would be the only console. Only thing making new games. It would cost more than the PS3 original launch.

i think it is probably agaisnt the law if nintendo , microsoft and sont merged they would own too much media and be forced to sell some of it to smaller companies XD

Oh, right. That prob would be the case xD.
Nintendo, Microsoft, and (probably, mostly) Sony would own like..bilions of things and would prob be under the category of "Attempted World Domination".
Which they pretty much are doing separately, but combined they would do a better job xD

microsoft probably wouldnt even be as sucessful if we had those laws back int he day and they pushed away ibm XD
anyway im confusing myself trying to think back to alan sugars story XD
but hes rich anyway someh XD
i dunno, they could all combine, but would they get a larger group working on specific games and fire a lot of people rather than bringing out many games?
also
if they dotn have competition
they dont have to work as hard
games dont have to be as good
they dont have to bring out new stuff
and keep up to or above the rest
which doesnt seem good to me XD
plus
playstatio network etc. would be hella slow XD
and it would all be hella expensive to cover costs XD

3 amazingly rich companies could fund that. lol. Game companies really handle quality, a agme released on all platforms has about the same amount of detail. (Excluding console exclusives, PC enhancements/mods)

ah yes., LOL. But still, the games are developers, but, costs would be outrageous.
THE POINT IS, this is staying a dream. xD.
And Nintendo is releasing a new console, ahead of the others, this time.
But no one has crap on it. LOL. Nintendo is the most tightly sealed box, when it comes to things liek this.

Nintendo said it would be as powerful as the current core game systems (360/ps3) but with the PS3 hacking and 360 coming up on it end of life, Both Sony/MS are going to be releasing new systems that will be superior to anything Nintendo puts out (they are always behind in the console wars) but inferior to what you can make a computer do.
The PS3 hacking (not the network BTW) has done 2 things. It has made sure that the PS4 will NOT be backwards compatible with the PS3 and made it so Sony has to put out another system before their 10 year mark. Sucks since the devs were getting used to working on the cell processors and that IBM is not developing the Cell processors anymore.
Don't know what MS plans though. Xbox Kinect Console 540? lol
Also monoply laws would screw up any merger of the 3 giants.

we were talking about the Monopoly laws, and how it would prevent that xD.
And, PS3 is gonna have PSN back up by the end of the month, Hopefully. Xbox is still upping its 360. New features, and Kinect (along with he slim xbox) just came out, pretty much. If they were to announce a new console, I say next years E3 AT THE LEAST. Then having a release at like 2013, or even 2014.
Consoles are getting pretty powerful, They can't really introduce nothing super major that is new. They support 3D, Kinect shows they can support body movements, Wii Motion Plus, and PlayStation show they can support 1 to 1 movement.
PS3 has Blu-Ray, which is the highest definition you can get, now a days. (and i do not see anything passing it FOR AWHILE, if possible.)
Point is, these console lives are not gonna die. Nintendo is just gonna make a HD system, who the hell knows what else till E3.
The fact is, Microsoft and Sony know that Nintendo most likely will not create more powerful hardware. In fact, Nintendo releasing a more "Hardcore" Friendly system, prob wont get to much sales from Hardcore, because Nintendo has little to none hardcore games to offer.
