no it's still VI, when they re-released it on PS in anthologies, it was VI, and when it's released on GBA, it'll be VI, so it's VI despite what the cartridge says

Yes, but anathologies was an exact remake of the japanese games, since V was first released there. And when it comes out for the DS, itll be III, just like the cart says, since Nintendo and Square, who freakin name the games, say it is. No matter what you say, they have the final word. Final Fantasy III, just like it says on the american carts, is Final Fantasy III to america. Take it up with nintendo and square if you got a problem with that. In japan, its VI, in america, its III and VI, depending on what system you have it for.

no the one being remade is the real FFIII not FFVI. The real FFIII, the one to never hit america. FFVI is being ported to the GBA however. SO it is FFVI, and square has made that decision to make it that way for us from now on.
