ok 3 is a lot like 1 and 2 as far as gameplay is concered, the graphics are a tad better than 2, and thats all i can remember about 3 lol its been so long since i played it.
4 is very different from the others, its really creapy at some parts and near the end it gets as annoying as heck because you cant save without getting hurt, the gameply in the "normal" dimension is first person view which in turn can make for some creepy ass stuff to happen (cuz everythings creepyer in FPV cuz u cant see behind yourself) I'd say its a damn good game for SH players, its only issue is there are some occasions in wich the game can get extemely difficult i.e. running from demons cuz you ran out of silver bullets. (demons a immune to normal bulets in case u didnt know  ), i playd this one fairly recently so i remember a lot about it but am trying to dicribe it wthout giving anything away
