Signature Size...
...ok, I've talked about this with a few people and we are asking why the signature sixe is limited down to only 400 X 100?

I think it was due to server speed problems or somthing not sure but saw somthing about that somewhere.

Well not a speed issue with the server as it doesn't host the files. It was originally set to that size for users not wanting to download so many sig images which may slow down their page load times if they have a slow connection. Basically 400 X 100 became the standard. What size did you have in mind?

I know it doesn't host them XD was never really sure why there were no answers but that was the only answer I saw so I posted it  . And yeah my computer does take a long time to load those signatures because I have a slow internet connection.  So if we do decide to increase don't make it too big!

i don't mind these sig sizes actually...
they're big enough to make cool ones, and we can put 3 of those in our sig, which isn't too bad, cause it makes up for the lack of size...
so i dunno, don't really need a bigger size for me...
otherwise it would make the pages look a lot bigger too...

I'm actually ok with the siggy size, 400 x 100 in pixels. Should be more than grateful since the image size is not restricted (other forums have crappy limitations over the file size - not above 1Mb and such).

It's easy to reduce the size flare don't you have a program like photoshop,fireworks mx, or somthing?Even just a trial thing could help. What signature do you need help with?
