Sick FF8 Challenges
There are many challenges you can find in FFVIII, some even said the game wasn't challenging enough. But if you put it a few ways, you can be a really sick FF8 player.
If you've completed all the listed things below, you're definitely the sickest FFVIII player!
Note: No gamesharks, nor any sorts of cheats are allowed to complete the quests.
1. Finishes FFVIII with no character ever been KO'ed (zero KO status)
2. Finishes FFVIII without summoning one single GF during battle, exception for random appearing GFs like Odin and Gilgamesh.
3. Finishes FFVIII without casting any spells during battle, using spells at Menu is allowed.
4. Defeats Odin by 10 seconds. (or wait the timer till it left 10 seconds and finishes Odin off without using Selphie's The End limit break)
5. Defeats Omega Weapon without using Holy-War or other invincible causing items, and no Selphie The End limit.
6. Defeats Ultimecia, Griever, Ultimecia-Griever and Ultimecia final form without unlocking any abilities locked in Ultimecia's Castle. (Only Attack command)
7. Having all Items, GFs,spells and Items by the ending of FFVIII's ending.
8. Finishing FFVIII without any weapon upgrades.
9. Defeats Ultima Weapon within 20 seconds without Selphie's The End limit.
10. Having 100 stocked spells for all Magic including Apocalypse.
If you've done all these, there's no need for words...you're simply the sickest FF8 player eva!

apocalypse does not exist for the player..only ultemecia has it available.
some good things to try though..particularly the no ko one..being as the instant death attacks of some enemies would be extremely annoying if you forgot to equip any magic against it halfway through the game lol

The only way of getting 100 stocked Apocalypse spells is by drawing from Ultimecia, so eventually you'll finish FFVIII if you've stocked 100 Apocalypses and other spells as well. So, no.10 shouldn't be a problem.

youd be surprised,
i have squall, zell, rinoa
squall always has highest strength and highest HP, (unless all maxed obviously)
squall attacks constantly,
zell uses attacks, limits gf and magic when used,
rinoa always heals, using restores, regens, barriers Etc.
and squall is junctioned with cover so rinoa rarely gets hit and theyre all constantly getting healed and atacking

You know, actually the challenges are made for combinations. Something like finishing the whole FFVIII game without having any character KO'ed, defeating Odin by 10 seconds, defeating Ultima Weapon by 10 seconds, no GFs used, no spells used, and 100 stocked spells, all cards, and all items in inventory.
So that makes, 1+2+3+4+7+9+10 challenges in one challenge.
I know it would be impossible to complete this combination: 1+2+3+5+8
Defeats Omega Weapon with no Holy War, The End, no weapons upgrde, no GFs used, no spells used and most of all no characters' KO'ed.
So, instead of completing the challenges single layered..you can try completing the challenges in combinations.

Anti-junction is very easy challenge actually, you can get 255 stats for all without equipping any spells. How? There's two ways:
1. Refine Forbid Med-RF items using scrolls and other items, example:
10xStr-J Scroll:1xPower Wrist (GFAbl Med-RF)
10xPower Wrist:1xHyper Wrist (GFAbl Med-RF)
10xHyper Wrist:1xStr Up (Forbid Med-RF)
See? With the unlimited gil cheat from Carbuncle, you can refine Str Ups again and again so you can have millions of Str Ups as well as other Stat increasing items using the same method.
2. Devouring, eat monsters to raise stats permanently. If we Devour like hell, we can get the complete stats and it'll be worth it (no spells need to junction onto stats). Devour works like Card ability, so characers won't gain any EXP.

Can be done, however, it is really hard to do against Ultimecia, since I tend to kill the characters I donīt wish to appear <.<

Just to make this one harder, no Odin and Gilgamesh allowed either

ALMOST did this one, I used spells really few times, but I just had to lol, seems like one of the easiest.

Wow, this one is harsh. Some spells are really hard to find around the world... however, it seems like another possible one. Also, survivng 12 turns against Ultimeciaīs final form using Apocalypse isnīt really easy.
