Siblings....
i don't get it, is it in her DNA to be as obnoxious as possible? I mean, i'm the younger one my 4 years, so that means to some extent that i should be the one acting like a child. but i swear, sometimes, she's just like a 3 year old. I went to traffic school today and got lost about 5 times, but i get home and all i get from her is, "Let's play a game" and "Sister! Rar!" I MEAN REALLY?!
now, this might just sound like random crap you you people, but she doesn't this ALL THE TIME. making stupid jokes, pretending to be a raptor, annoying the heck out of me, jumping on my bed, calling me at 4 in the morning to complain that she's bored. GAH!

For me, I think its pretty normal. I experience a few similar things, except my sis is 5 years older than me. Actually what I think is they (siblings) tend to show playful and childish characteristics sometimes whenever they are near their family members, like my sis..she acts like a high school teen near me and my mum BUT she always put on her seriousness and lady-like attitude outside..ya know, workplace,etc.
I've seen 30++ ladies being pampered by mummies till that range of age, they're pretty..somesort of 'Happy-go-lucky' kinda attitude, can u imagine a girl wearing a white laced gown, holding a basket of fruits and goes 'La la la la'? Yeah, something like that.
And I think its a good thing, adults don't usually do these childish things whenever they are not with their closed ones...it shows affections between siblings, and its a good thing (even though it can get really annoying sometimes).
Who knows you'll miss the annoyance of your sis once you lived somewhere far for quite a long time?

I understand what you mean and it’s very common, what’s weird is not having this kind of sisterhood. I am the eldest; I have one brother and one sister who are both two years younger than me, I love them very dearly but sometimes I just want to wring their necks and I am sure they feel the same way at times, we annoy each other and drive each other crazy but we remain forever friends. It’s very usual considering the fact that people tend to be more than just themselves among family members.
I know that I will miss all the craziness in the future, and I think you would too.

Karma sure can be a .. well you know..
but yeah, i've got three older siblings all in their early 20's. and whats wierd is how all the old grudges just seem to vanish..
I've also got 3 younger siblings 5, 7, 9,
The things they say, and do, astound me. Its like the teenage angst and rebellion have slowly trickled down the age ladder. and the songs they sing! no more ring around the posey, its all "Don't Ya Wish Your Girlfriend Was Hot Like Me" - by Brandy..
I make it a point to play some slayer or old school metallica any time their in the same vehicle as me, lol. drives em freaking nuts!

my sister has 2 videos of her annoying me on youtube. The first one is her singing, "Since you've been gone" in the most obnoxious way possible, and the second one is of her reading the Cathy Ireland catalog... for 5 minutes... straight. If you turn up the volume on the last one, you can hear me yelling at her from upstairs.
oh, and there was one she only showed her friends on madradhair of her screaming that she wanted apple sauce for 25 minutes. It ended when i walked into the room for the millionth time and she surprise attacked me by tackling me to the ground.

yeah, Mandy Monica Scotty and Tina, we all grew up in the house together. fast forward a few years and Mandy has 3 kids she can't/won't take care of so my parents adopt them and raise them as their own. .. (can't believe i forgot about monica..)
(btw, Mandy Scotty and Monica are not my real siblings, their mother committed suicide years ago, and mom and dad adopted them at an early age. so all in all i have one real sister )
I'm pretty sure that I'm going to end up being my own grandpa one day..
