Should they ever...

Do you think they should ever cut off the FF series? Do you think it will ever become overkill (like those Land Before Time Movies)? I think that if they keep developing decent storylines, the FF franchise will be around for quite awhile.

I do think it will last quite some time, although the games have not been THAT good of late. But they will last a good amount of time, but eventually it will have to end.

I don't think they should cut off the FF series, of course it will end someday but I don't want it to and I hope it will last for a long time

Ha, the CD number makes no difference. On the PS3 discs you could put FFI-VI on and maybe even VII and CC Laughing.

why is that ?
it does, making the game longer so one CD isn't enough for it... so if we said 40 hours for the first and another 40 for the second.. that will be enough for you I guess lol

I think that 25-30 hours are enough. The older ones had less time, but the lenght was the same, since there weren´t as many FMVs as there are in 7 onwards.

The CD number doesn´t really make a difference in game length, since graphics do. As graphics become heavy, the games use more space in the CDs...
So, I think you could easily put I-VI all together, and maybe VII too, in one single DVD.
