Oh cool! I couldn't help but notice that you know of the wendigo... disgusting creatures... but still cool to find others who know what they are ^^
Haha, disgusting indeed. I'm more into the subject of the "Wendigo Syndrome" as I was stupidly accused of it when I was younger by a shrink who probably had more diplomas than brain, to be honest. Haha, oh well, stupidity strikes everywhere, even psychiatrists.

Personally, I was more inclined towards vampirism than cannibalism (you should see how I eat oranges). Don't worry, I'm not personally violent, I just have a twisted imagination
It looks like everyone who is interested has posted, though I can't tell if a couple players are just waiting or dropped off. What about turn orders, and a time limit for unresponsive members to keep someone who disappears abruptly from grinding the whole thing to a halt? Even though the set-up was more or less established, it would be good to have a kicker (a post from Riku that sets the stage and starts the RP officially).
Ahem, not trying to be bossy, and I'm very certain everyone is capable. I'm simply sharing a few pointers I've picked up when I've RPed more seriously (because it inflates my ego :p).

wait what? were you accused of eating the still beating heart of your closest friend? because I don't know what else wendigo syndrome would be...
The Wendigo Syndrome doesn't have anything to do with eatting hearts. That would be the actual Wendigo myth. The Wendigo Syndrome is a mental dissorder in which the pacient often has cannibalistic tendencies and thoughts, but like any other mental instability, it has different levels. Many cases just stay with constant/occasional violent and/or cannibalistic thoughts and ideas (i.e. imagining yourself eatting someone you see randomly in the street), while others can actually take action, and may, or may not, retain the state of conciousness during the process.
Hope that clears it for ya. This is only what I've been explained, for more accurate information, try Google or whatever.

Also, I won't establish a time limit because I am a busy person, and I can only come online a few times a day, for a limited amount of time. I will use common sense, obviously.
I want the Roleplay to be decent, somewhat professional, but I'm not having it be a Harry Potter book in each Post, and I won't having it be an obligation whatsoever, because not only will it bore people (me), it'll also include forced, un-imaginative Posts. Some Roleplayers require different amounts of time to provide a good Post, some just burst out things that won't work. I prefer the first.
That's perfectly fine by me, I just wanted to understand the parameters. Though I sometimes get flashbacks of this one time I was in an RP that was real involved, and a player handling several characters quit to go on a holy mission of teaching kung-fu to church people... or something.
oh I see... yeah I have only heard the actual legeond of the wendigo... I never knew there was some kind of dissorder about it... lots of people have that problem tho... I mean about haveing violent thoughts n stuff... its those who act on it like you said that have the problem lol...

Not quite. You see, our psyche is divided into more than one part, the ego, superego and the Id. I won't go into detail with this, as I would just talk for hours, but I'll try to explain it in one sentence or two.
Basically, you can think of whatever you like. For instance, when walking to school before a test, you force yourself to think of the stuff that's going to come out in the test, the things that you've studied, as to revise it. But there are some thoughts that are automatically induced by your subconciousness, the thoughts that reflect who and what you truly are, related back to a certain part of your unconciousness.
We can have violent, cannibalistic thoughts all the time due to our own curiosity - our desire to comprehend a certain behavior pattern or overall aspect of the human mind. While some other individual will have violent, cannibalistic thoughts occasionally/constantly as part of their daily thought-train. For example, a normal teenager has sexual-related thoughts when he is in the presence of a person of the opposite/same/both sexes because that is normal. That is part of the hormonal effect on the human body, whereas patients who suffer from this mental dissorder, as opposed to imagining how good it be to do the chick, would imagine how good it would be to slowly kill and consume her flesh.

When I updated my profile last by editing my post, I never recieved a proof as to whether my character, Rick Joey Mills, was a good enough character to join the Roleplay. Since the Roleplay has started, it is crucial that I find this out.

Freud had a few interesting points, and introducing subconscious influences to our actions was pretty innovative. I think that to some extent he was projecting some of his own strange quirks. His strong reaction against any modification of his ideas also smacked more of creating theology rather than developing a science.
Course, I'm a little more biased towards Jung :p

Let's give Riku another day or two. If no responce, then we'll fast forward to the "deserted" hospital. I know enough to let us proceed without much of a hitch.

Somewhat loosely: The setup is from Nocturne Tatsuya is from Persona 2, Atma are from the Digital Devil Saga. It's a mishmash of SMT stuff, but once we get into it seriously I think it'll take on a life of its own organically.
