really need help(nothing to do with completing game)

ok ive completed FF7 at least 20 times by now to clear that up ,but my 2nd disc stops working after you fight weapon ,and i think its due to playing too much ,so does anyone know how to :
1.find a cheap pal version of the game.
2.get ps1 NTSC games working on my pal ps2 without chipping it(i heard you can get discs to do this)
3.fix my disc

they sell disc repair kits in places like walmart. prolly 10 or so, which is cheaper than buy a new game. they work on my cds/dvd so im sure it would help.

well ill tell you some thing for free....

each disk has the whole game on each cd except for the fmvs...
so while you play the game berfore the game stops trade cds back to disk 1 and close
the cover continue playing the game past that point then simpily trade the cd back..
it works for me i have to trade all the cds around ... all so scratched...
Good luck mate... Cool

See the problem you have is probably dust or gunk in the scratches of your disc.
one easy way to get the stuff out of the scratches is to use rubbing alcohol on the disc. it works the best and i dont reccomend getting the disc repair things i hear they mess up the game even more than it is lol

Disk repair kits grid off the layer than protects the dater then you add some resurfacer and it puts the protected layer back on and then you dont have scratches and they do work so you must have heard of a * one.

Well if they do work than thats awesome! cause all i hear around where i live is that they wreck the disc. Hmmm i have also heard once that possibly the reason they wreck the disc is if you use the repair kit wrong

This is gonna sound weird, but I do it and it works. I use normal toothpaste (NOT GEL) and put some on a wash cloth, then start from the center of the disc, and smear outward, and do this all the way around. Then get a new cloth, dry, and wipe it off. As I understand it, it cleans the disk, and fills in the scratchs. It works like magic for me. I've done it on countless games.
