Personally I find the Ramones deserve a tribute thread and my reason is the following.

The Ramones are one of the oldest punk bands ( around the same time as The sex pistols and the clash) but the Ramones made they're music more fast paced and heavier and I believe that the Ramones sound more like punk because They're music seem to have a touch of that I don't give a sh*t attitude added to it. They influenced many, and I believe are one of the greatest bands that existed.
