they wouldnt do that i hope cos that was what ff7 ac was for ... they would just recreate the ff7 original but with better graphics and stuff ... i so hope they dont screw up the materia section or ill be angry

my words exactly and if sqare really was making one they would also think about making a remake of vii but there not because it might ruin whats good, perhaps there already ruining it with all the spinoffs although dirge of cereberus does look bad ass

I think its a rumour. Wasnt AC supposed to be FF7-2?
What I HAVE heard though, is that squaresoft is working on making the same game (same story etc) but with new graphics! So a rework!
