Quick Question
Hello everyone  Veterans of my "Serious discussion" threads already know that I posted here because im not really looking for advice, just points of view ^_^ anyway... there is something I wanted to talk about if you feel like reading 
So... im here in training... some of you already know what happened to me earlier (mostly my own fault for breaking a personal promise)
Well this is like version 2
Alright... I havn't done anything... yet...
But, I started talking to another girl. She's really nice, but really different from me... we have a lot of the same interests... but when it comes to how we live, our attitudes towards other people, and how we view life... is very different... I was already thinking "not long term relationship material" right? she's pretty enough... but if you know me im not into the whole "one night stand" thing.
Anyway... once she found out that I "go for that" she suddenly thought we were like together or something (at least thats my take on it) She has been all touchy feely... the worst part is, I LOVE my job... and she has NO common sense about place and time... she says things too loud in the wrong places... and wants to be all over me... I was nice... but I kept trying to give the impression that I CARE about where I am if/when I decide that I want to do that.
Today was the last straw though... I was in the shower (bay showers are open btw) and we happened to be the only ones in there (I was praying for more people to show up... but they never came T_T ) anyway, we were on opposite sides and she was all like "Hey mind if I come over to that side?" I said "Whats wrong with your side?" and that ended that XD anyway, next she's all like "Want me to wash your back?" and I flat out said "No im fine." She was like "Well you can't reach." I was like "Yes I can! im fine! sheesh" well needless to say... I took a quick shower and got out...
But wait... theres more -_-
She goes "Why are you being shy with me?" I was like "What do you mean?" she goes "You turn your back to me all the time. I mean I've already seen your whole body..." and I was like "Shut up! your not helping!" Then I told her off it was great... I was all like "Right now, my career is the most important thing to me, more important than any one person! I swear that if you get in the way of that I will let you burn by yourself. Have you noticed that I have like 5 different faces I put on around here? Thats because I love my job and Im careful! You may not care because you want to leave in 4 years, but I want to stay for as long as I can!" Then I grabbed my stuff and left
I didn't remember everything exactly... but thats basically what happened.
What do you guys think?

I thought it was a widely known rule that you never get involved with anyone from where you work. The reasoning for that rule is exactly this scenario. If it doesn't work out it creates uncomfortable working environments at best.

and if it DID work with her it would mean you bending to her ways and making work very very akward anyway
if she cant take a hint and at LEAST respect your boundaries well then

Thats kind of what I was thinking... I have just been on this "no relationships" commitment for so long that I guess im seeing everyone through heart shaped glasses ^_^; how long until Easter again? XD no no... im supposed to be learning a lesson on not falling in love too easily

In no way would i ever tell anyone to date someone they work with. ever. But I would also say that sometimes mistakes have to be made, and moreover, mistakes are only identifiable when you have the blessing of hindsight.
with all that, you don't know its a mistake but she also doesn't seem like the type for you so the risk vs reward is pretty obvious.
