Final Fantasy II released in the US is the same as Final Fantasy IV in Japan and in all future remakes (I'm pretty sure) of the game. Final Fantasy II Japan is called Final Fantasy II in all the US versions which have been made recently.

There's a FF I and II: Dawn of Souls for GBA. When it says II though it doesn't mean IV if that makes any sense at all. It's the original II from Japan.
