Psychic Powers: Magick or Psychology?
We've all heard or read this before.
My question is, since Psychic powers deals with the mind, do you think it belongs more to the magick category or the psychological category.
Alot of poker players seem to be psychic but are they? or are they simply using NLP?
Alot of fortune tellers seem to be psychic but are they? or are they simply using a new form of metaphysical psychology?
Alot of martial arts masters seem to be psychic but are they? or are they simply using an enhanced form of observation?
With these questions in mind, let me ask you. Do you still believe that you are a pschic? If so, what is being psychic to you?
One thing's for sure, all humans have their own definitions of it but few tend to be able to utilize it in a controlled scenario or do they?

i guess it depends on what your believe.
if you believe that the world is held together by materia like substances that we havent learnt to refine and that there are dragons in some of the deepest caves on the planet then "psy" powers are magic orientated
if you believe only in what you can touch feel smell and taste than they are only a way that people collect ther keen observations and sences in one point (usually defined as being precogs if they were believers of magic)
all comes down to personal preferance
myself personally i think that both exist together but not solely (here is my rambelings on the way the world works so if you dont wanna have sore red eyes by the end of it change topic now XD)
i believe that the world was formed by "the big bang" which in turn was created by some form of deity (not "god" as i have red much of the bible and i think its got more holes in it than the classical swiss chease) i believe life evolved but i believe it was given a kick start by that or those same deity's (cause think about it if in the bible we all came from adam and eve than we are all inbread mo fo's and we should all have like 3 eyes 4 legs and a pair of wings due to mutation... im stoping on that now cause i dont want no flame war) i believe that the world is held together by our dead ancestors (all the elements that existin our bodies and being realeased back into the ground when we de-compose which we harvest through plants and other animals[materia in a round about way  ]). i believe those martial arts masters that seem to be able to more and react faster than anyone else arnt more special than any one else so they wernt blessed with them abilitys they merely learnt to access them (i believe we all have the ability to perform these feats we just havent become intune with them and unfortunately we cant get some tv guy to tune us in with them because we all have diferent ways of doing it  ) i believe the same for those true psykers out there, magicians i believe arnt anything great either they have become over glorified theives that dont steel from people but master the arts of sleight of hand and coreography (as well as learning to make props that decieve our sences [see the trick for cutting people in half]) i believe the world would be better off with out our technology because we have become dependant on it in my opinion we would be better to be plunged into the worlds that have been depicted in final fantasy games i believe anything that is unexplanable is explainable we just dont know the true facts to explain what hapened i believe that there is an afterlife however it is something like a feuge plain where the spirits of everything gather when they have died and once an empty life is about to take place those spirits filter in to make the life whole (by that i meen that the spirits wont know what they will be re-born as they may end up being an ant or a bird or a tree or anything that lives) i believe that those spirits when they die dont loose their memories however when they go into the new life there is not enough room to take them along so they get left behind and filter back into the spirits conciousness if there is enough room. i believe in ghosts because think about it with how many living things exist in the world i believe there would be double that in that feuge plain i believe exists so no doubt some would rather "walk" around in an area less congested but if they walk for too long they forget about everything except the largest thought they had in their previous life. i believe ghosts can hurt us but i believe that the vast majorety of them dont have that thought as their largest from their previous life (like how many people walk around each day and think forever that they want every one dead because every one has some one they like (even if it is only them selves). i believe every one has a sould mate but i believe that not every one will find them in their presnt lifetime, i believe that thousands of people mistake arrogance for inteligance and i believe that those people will eventually learn the differance. i believe that the sky is blue because that is what colour the majoriety like it to be i believe that there is graviety for the same reason i believe that the world was once flat (dont ask me about that its just a feeling i get who knows i may have once been the strongest of suporters for it XD) i believe in a ying/yang sorta thing where good people have a spot of bad and bad people have a spot of good also i believe that with out hate for a person there can be no love for them and vica versa (how many people do you love to hate and how many would you hate to hate... man i think i need a thesaurus XD)
i believe in many more but with all my head scouring i cant keep going so i think i will leave it at that for this moment and might add more when i decide to scour more (and next time i might just hit enter a few times
