I personally think the PSP is better even though i own both. Here's my opinion:
PSP
- Portable media device, plays music, browse pictures, browse internet, watch films etc.
- Bigger screen than DS, much better quality too with multiple brighnesses.
- Analogue nub.
- An amazing homebrew community, because of them you can play any Final Fantasy from 1-9 through emulators plus lots of other games and applications.
DS
- Touch screen
- Longer battery life
- Faster loading times
In my opinion, I think the PSP has better games. I personally am not too fond of those cutish games and I like games like Tekken: Dark Resurrection and Metal Gear Acid. But others are the complete opposite.

I got a PSP and there are games I want to get and I like it to but I say if your young you should get a DS since it has mostly kiddie games, but if your older 10+ since they have more mature games,I dont like the DS much because you play games,play around the world,and thats it,but the PSP you can have pics,movies,games,internet,music,and Wi-Fi.
