I have a PSP and it's very good. There are plenty of games I want to get like Loco Roco and FF7 Crisis Core.

Im currently playing GTA Vice City Stories which is a great game for the PSP.

I have Everybodys Golf, Wipeout Pure, Mercury and Lumines. Lumines is a great starter game. Its so original.

The really good thing about PSP is there should be PS1 downloads this year. FF7, FF8, FF9 and whatever games you want all stored on your PSP will be really good.

Between the PSP and the DS, PSP wins for graphics. Gameplay is probably debatable but im happy with my PSP and it looks like 2007 will be its best year so far.

Im not sure about the PSP's price though. Here in England it is fairly cheap. Going into the DS's price range soon.

Dunno which is better... Not got either, but IMO the PSP is more of a portable multimedia centre and the DS is a pure gaming machine... I'd go with the DS here but only cuz i go with Nintendo for handheld systems

Although i dont really like the DS, I have to agree with you, Nintendo is still king of the handhelds. PSP is good, but they should have designed it like a PS2 controller. Even better, take a PS2 controller and add on to it until it is a portable sytem. The lack of the second analog stick makes games a lot more difficult, especially FPS games.

That's not to say the DS doesn't have it faults either. Metroid Prime is difficult as hell trying to turn your view with the touch screen.

My vote goes to Gameboy Advance SP.

I am debating myself on which one to get. I like the above posters comments about the downloads. That sounds awesome. I also like the fact that you can watch videos on it. I think I am leaning towards the PSP.

I think it all depends on what your tastes are. If you like videos and such, go for the PSP. If you like Nintendo-style and sometimes cutesy games, go for the DS. I have the DS and love it, because...well, I like the cutesy games like Animal Crossing and Bust a Move, as well as all the Final Fantasies they have coming for it.

I like Elite beat agents on the DS. Nintendo developers always get extremely creative with their games. Now that the wii is out as well, more and more people are going to want to explore their creative side.

Many developers want to make games for the 360, or the wii, because of the fact that since the PS3 has bluray, They are going to have to make new graphics engines.

PSP $150?
its $200 for the core $250 for the package...

woah.. i mean $200 for the PSP, or you can pay $250 to get a memory card and a carrying case as well.

the DS is $130

my personal oppinion is that the DS is the better of the machienes, it has a longer battery life, more interactive games, and an overall higher-quality of games.

sure it cant play movies or music... but my MP3 player does that already.

Also: the screen on the DS doesnt scrach up as much as the one on the PSP as it folds, the PSP screen is bare with no cover meaning its extremely easy to scratch if its in your pocket.

mona has to agree with thor. its very easy to scratch. ds battery is longer. mp3 works almost as good. and to add memory is way to expensive. (mona should know hes got a 4 gb stick.) and i miss the second analog stick too.

but ill give the goods of each for you.

PSP=

- music, pictures, games, movies, and internet (my favorite feature)

- some pretty good games too. (currently playing valkary profile)

- and if nothing else you could do what my cousin does and keep the goods on it if you know what im getting at.

DS=

- i think the games are a little bit more fun.

- its got the original jap. version of ff3. (not what we had as 3 which was of course 6 but the real 3)

- its fun to say touch touch......touch touch.......

-and theres lost magic which makes PERFECT use of the touch screen. (its so hard sometimes though)

but mona says both because they both kick what would be a portable xbox in the disk tray.

although that may be true it was a joke the real reason is because well im a handheld freak get used to it.
