Well, not exactly but according to the BBC the processing power of the PS3 can help scientists understand such illnesses and hopefully their cure.

I honestly can't see the correlation between the processing power of the PS3 and the potential for curing diseases. However, it -is- interesting...

Heh yeah that would have to be pretty dam amazing, but i guess that if it does then it could even build up there sales, for those reasons, either that or people would just see a doctor  .
