no idea when gt5 (not prolouge) is coming out but im pretty excited.
I head that ffX versus XIII might have been cancelled. no word. it was behind in development anyway but... im not really looking forward to the next ff game after 12.... that being said ill still end up buying it lol.
mgs4... i have it preordered and im picking it up at my local gamestop at their midnight madness thing so after the 12th... i might be gone for a while lol.
resistance 2: i never played the first one but i hear the second one is gonna have 60 players online... that sounds pretty crazy.
and then socom... well... it looks to be a ton of fun. and hopefully ill get a beta invite come early this thursday (18 more min lol)
and and this is obviously already out but you should get gta 4 as well... its a ridiculous amount of fun and the story is 10X better than any previous gta game (cough it has 10+ online modes as well cough)

from what little ive read about force unleashed its going to be on all new systems (yeah all three ugh) and each is going to be unique in some way. the wii is the only one that will have motion control from what i hear so chances are it will be the most fun. but then again online wont be so hot.

Now that Force unleashed Star Wars game...I heard that was coming out on wii and would use the motion sensor thing..Is that the same for ps3?
MSG4 looks good, the new final fantasy i dont have high hopes for, im really kind of a classic FF fan myself.
Fallout 3 im going to get for the PC, the platform it was made for
Starwars The force Unleased im getting for my 360 (and as a bonus, it comes out on my Birthday!)
i will probably end up getting Soulcalibur IV, but i know i will never play it as i dont really like any fighting game thats not Super Smash Bros.
Resistance 1 was boring, hopefully 2 is better
Motorstorm looked awesome, 2 should be even awesomer
SOCOM when i played the first one, was nothing impressive, but that was ages ago im going to guess the game got TONS better since then.
i dont mind Playstation fanboyism, i understand that people get excited for games on their console. its the brutality of fanboyism that really gets to me, i dont see it very often on this forum or i would have left LONG ago.
eventually i will get a playstation, it will be just awhile before there are sufficient enough games for me to enjoy myself with that my PC and 360 just cant offer.
now, isint there a few amazing games like Mirrors edge and Killzone 2 that are coming out on the PS3 as well this year? or are those next year?
also, dont forget that the Ghostbusters game comes out this October!

anyway... totally forogt about killzone. not sure when thats coming out but that should be better than resistance2 all around.
as for socom... the right balance came with socom two. confrontation is going back to that. no vehicles at all, and all the voice chat is tied into your proximity in the game. so if im talking to my buddy thats right next to me he'll here me... as well as the enemy right behind the door im about to open. im pretty excited.

lol no i dont, i just go to most threads in the gaming forum that are new, someone just happened to mention me so i was almost obliged to post something.
its cool that people still remember me, despite my lack of recent postings.
also, the Force Unleashed will also be coming out on the PS2, PSP, and NDS
the only platform they DIDN'T port it to is the PC.... which makes me extremely disappointed.

Only games from the list the OP made that I don't think will be out this year are FF13 (unfortunatly) and Heavy Rain (Been a long time with no info). RPG substitutes for FF13 this year may possibly be White Knight Story and Disgaea 3. Theres also another RPG Square are making called the Last Remnant and its on the PS3 and 360.
Thorlord: Mirrors Edge is on both consoles and was rumoured to be out next month. I dont think it will be that soon but the game looks very good but im not entirely sure what we will actually do in the game except jumping buildings in FP mode.
Killzone 2 is out next March now. Sony had to choose between Resistance 2 and Killzone 2 to release in November as it doesent make commercial sense to release 2 FPS's in the same time frame. Resistance 2 is the one im looking forward to most so they made the right decision in my view.

I think Resident Evil 4 is definatly out before March next year and should now make Christmas this year hopefully.
All the games on your list are very good anyway, although im unsure about Too Human. Seems to have been delayed for so long now I just wonder if the games gonna end up being dissapointing.
For anyone who hasn't heard either MS had a big RPG announcement on Tuesday. Star Ocean 4 is now apparently exclusive on the 360 and The Last Remnant is timed exclusive. The Last Remnant is out in Decemeber and I think Infinite Undiscovery is out in August with Tales of Vesperia about the same time. Quite a nice RPG lineup the 360 has really.
