PS2 troubleshooting

alright so the slim and trim version of the ps2 is a blessing when it comes to size, but then again it's not very dependable. i have two broken ps2s but both broke because the fan stopped spinning. im wondering if this only happens to me or if this is a conspiracy...

The slimline PS2 doesn't have a fan, it uses a heatsink. So if you're talking about broken ps2's do you mean the big 'ol ones?
I know the big original PS2's did initially have problems so I guess it's not a conspiracy lol. Just bad luck? Wink

Well I play consoles for a long time too, like the PSone (the small ps1) used to have Gran Turismo 2 going all day on it because of the endurance races, once I left it going overight on pause too but it still worked.

The N64 is the only console that isn't working well for me, sadly, Goldeneye could be no more Crying or Very sad

man, ive left my original ps2 on for a good 3 days straight due to the 24 hour endurence races in gran turismo 4. its okay. i have to clean it from time to time (dust and the such) but its been pretty good. guess im just lucky.

also, now i wanna play goldeneye. it should be coming out for the virtual console on the wii. one of the most popular n64 games ever so im sure it will be on there eventually.
