Propaganda? Myth? Theory? FACT?
I saw the advertisement on Primeval, the croc horror movie. They add this statement: "30 feet long, over 300 human kills...you could be next!" And this one: "Based on a true story".

I read the articles and have one question about the first which is greatly exaggerated over the second. How do missing people leave a trail? If they aren't there, then there is no trail to follow. Right?

I figure they meant all the crocs everywhere have killed a total of 300 people over the course of all time that they have heard reports off...and they just kinda went wellll we can make it apply to just this one croc.

I would have to agree that I really don't think that one croc is responsible for all the killings. I am just glad I don't have to worry about them where I live.

Well, the National Geographic proves the over 300 kills and lvl 60 (lol, aged 60 I mean) croc name Gustav does exist.
But, their recording was 20ft...not 30ft. The largest recorded salt croc in this era was 23ft, never been above than that....though they do have 50 ft crocodiles at Jurassic age.
Even 20ft...its still huge.
