promotions
are the promotions worth it? i am now lvl 10 ranger which i can go to sniper but i will be bk to lvl 1  is it worth doing it? plz help thanks

right now no,
archer is a difficult class!
I suggest doing the original 10 classes first, then doing the 10 "Promotion" classes, then finishing with the special classes!
But promoting does make it harder!

darn i read a topic saying it is worth it so i just promoted ans my firsat battle i lost:( i guess ill stick to the archer and promote while i can. what lvl do u need to promote from sniper?

no you can promote only once...but to be honest you picked prolly the worst class to master as first...sniper is considered one of the hardest classes along with archer..since they have no MP at all (i went through quite a lot of pain while mastering it) and you will have quite a lot of problems with money since you didnt have any chance to save up something first....youre not that far, if you ask me you should start with an easier class...like mage or priest....both promoted and non promoted versions of these classes are easy since they have a lot of MP

Im a wizard knight, and the difficulty is increased. But I guess I'll have to stick with it... So I would recommend sticking with mage knight.

for being a new person to the forum, id suggest u stick with the monk class till u master it, like its said before in this topic the difficulty goes up when u promote to the next available class, itys better to stick with monk, and save up ur gil till u master it, then u can go from there to pick a new class to master...most people start with the mage class and then go onto the thief class after mastering mage, they are both pretty easy classes to master  and a good way to collect a lot of gil
