Probelm with Chocobo raisings, help plz
Hey guys, im new hear so i have no idea if such a topic exists. So anyway, i read a FAQ on how to raise chocobos. I need a Blue chocobo, i got a green one but i keep troubleshooting on new chocobos (great chocobos B Class, if i dont get blue chocobo, i move up a class and see). But when i get a chocobo from Class B to A, i STILL get a green chocobo, i need a blue so i can make a black, if its possible not to use 2 different colored chocobos to get a black chocobo, PLZ TELL ME Confused . I feed my chocobos the best greens, i feed them 10 greens, thats is alot of moneys worth of greens but i think it is a sacafice i must undergo. Thx for all the help you guys Smile

well you can look online for a guide no prob. they will have a ton. google it, or go to gamefaq's.
funny storry about this though, my first play through, which seems so veyr long ago now, my tv wasnt the greatest. in fact, it was my parents and was prolly older than me. so the color was faded along with the brightness and contrast. so in my hunt to get the blue and green chocobo i kept getting the green one. i did this, no joke, hundreds of times and i came to find out, i had been getting both all along but couldnt tell bc of the crappy tv. good times.

Great Female(B Class)+Good Male(B Class)+Carob Nut=Green Chocobo
Great Female(B Class)+Good Male(B Class)+Carob Nut+Luck=Blue Chocobo OR
Good Female(B Class)+Great Male(B Class)+Carob Nut=Blue Chocobo
Blue Chocobo(A Class)+Green Chocobo(A Class)+Carob Nut=Black Chocobo
Black Chocobo(A Class)+Wonderful(A Class)+Zeio Nut=Golden Chocobo
If u fed a chocobo until it says "There's no change/sumthing like dat' means u dun need to feed da chocobo wif da specific but again.
You can get a Green Chocobo from 2 Gold S-Class chocobos with a Carob Nut. You don't really need a Green if you have two Golds already, but just so you know.

Give your Great Female and Good Male 5 pieces of Sylkis greens each. Feed your Gold Chocobo 25 Sylkis greens if you want to race with him. Feed your Green, Blue, Black and Wonderful Chocobos 10 Sylkis greens each. (You don't need any more than that -- a chocobo's stats stop improving after a certain point, so 25 greens work just as well as 99) Its best if u try feeding wif various greens to increase its stats so it'll b in perfect form (high speed,hp,etc) so the chances of getting gold/black chocobo increases. I got my 1st try gold chocobo by boosting maximum my black chocobo and wonderful chocobo (A class). It might consume alot of money but its worth it,after getting ur gold chocobo>>money back guaranteed.

the best greens are reagen greens for 5000 ea from choco sage (i think) u need to feed it 30 roughly to get it to its max... try and get ur good choco to class A and ur great choco to class S it is possible to get both S i did it

Tantal greens are also a good alternative if the sylkis and reagen are too expensive! They raise most of the stats!
Its luck of the draw... I found just save outside the chocobo ranch before you go in... if you don't get the oen you want, reset and try again...
