Premier Reality (AKA Final Fantasy Mirror World)
In a world over-run by vicious and terrible killers. Horrible and bloodthirsty things that kill innocents. All the citizens of this world tremble in fear at the sight of these beings, so similar in appearance yet so different in their skills. They huddle in their towns in fear, all but the boldest traveling only through the Disturbium Interconnection Circuit (DIC), a giant sentient machina satellite of immense power that hangs above the head of all of this world. Though it's massive magic relay, it can generate safe-paths that most monsters can't enter, create Sky-Arks for permanent transportation usage, and even teleport for the most high priority citizens of the world.
In this world you are... a monster... just an ordinary every day innocent monster living in this town filled with monsters of many races and types.
It is the year 3000 AL, and the Emperium League has met and declared a state of emergency for all of the world of Ecilavi. DIC is failing. It's transmissions to the League were once clear words and sentences, but they slowly have becoming more and more confusing until finally it said. "Breaking. Know it now. Find city. Find secret. Destroy the former REIDLOS who betrayed the Citadel. He must be stopped. He must be stopped. He must be stopped." All other messages are in a loop. "He must be stopped" plays over and over. People sometimes hear it while riding Sky-Arks, on the Safe Paths, and even have the thought enter their mind while teleporting. It was voted and the king of the largest kingdom, Behemoth Bethemoth IX of the kindom of Ragdim, will host the recruitment drive for researchers and soldiers who will seek out all that is known about the "REIDLOS"s and the Citadel.
Will your brave through to the city and try to help the world?
Or are you an evil human-creature out to stop us peace loving monsters?
Races available are all the canon races from any and all Final Fantasy games. Some things are different however from what would be expected by most final fantasy fans. These are:
Chocobos:
It is very rare for these wild beasts to be tamed. They are rarer to find tame than to find a tame human. But it is possible. Like tame humans, when they are tame, they are pretty nice people. They are the rarest but best, "paladins" of Ecilavi due to their strength in white magic and physical combat though they are weaker than some paladin races physically(this is determined mainly by weakness/strength of monster of FF if you use your best judgement that is ok. I don't want to have to write up all races.), but their speed makes up for that.
Moogles: Everything is reversed in this world about moogles, instead of the moogles being kind, peace loving creatures, moogles are just a step above the vicious humans of the outside world, they are violent creatures with a bad reputation of stealing and killing. They have no grasp of the fine art of magic in any manner at all their only magical ability being their pompom, which if used for blunt attacks can be used to transmit poison magic through to the foe. They attack with claws and sharp, pointy teeth.
Humans: There ARE tame humans. (Note that on Final fantasy you fight villains and thieves and the like from time to time, so it would be logical to assume that in this world they are "tame humans") Fear and descrimination follow them, but anyone who gets to know a tame human knows that they are all really just as nice as any monster.
That is about it. All monsters from FF are now the good guys except for all of the summons, which are still summons used by certain humans, but if you can save them from the human that has trapped them into servitude they will become friendly again.
If there is ever a Premier Reality II I will then allow custom monsters, for now lets stick with monsters from Final Fantasy and no make-em-ups, please.

Bio:
Magic (Keep it reasonable within what your character, as a monster, should be able to do. And the more magically prone you are, the less physically strong your character will be, keep that in mind. The extent that works is based on your race, where the race with the best balance of magic and physical combat is the tame humans. You can learn magic as you go along. I won't include a "skills" or "techniques" thing because that is basically a combination of what you physically can do, your imagination in how you use it, and what you magically can do.):
Pinata's Character-
Name: Madame C4
Race: Bomb
Gender: Female
Reason: Expert on old documents, including some that refer to a "Citadel".
Personality: Firey and angry at the world at the loss of her husband. She can also be nice and kind, almost motherly to those around her when they need her, but she is hard to talk to unless you are actually truly in need and not just wanting to talk.
Bio: C4's husband who travelled and was killed in a Safe Path by a human child who he refused to kill because of the age of the child. Turns out the child was a summoner of very high level who has been able to get around Ragdim's northern safe paths for some time now. This human-child summoner was one of the reasons that first caused concern for the operation of the Disturbium Interconnection Circuit.
Magic: Fire, Fira
Story Start-
Madame C4 floated slightly above the ground in waiting in a huge group of monsters from around the world, all volunteering for service in saving the world in a massive floor in front of the world's largest castle made of white stone and mithril. With towers and basilisk mounted on ballistas overlooking the exterior to keep any dread humans at bay some watching the sky in case they are mounted on Black Chocobos or flying machines. The king stands on a balcony overlooking them, visible by all. He says,"People of Ecilavi, you have heard our cry for help and answered. Now you shall be sorted quickly by the mystical and magical Tomberry Oracles Three." Three tomberries come out of doors in the castle ground in front of the large group all sharing one tomberry lamp and holding onto it at the same time.
"By their magic", the king continues,"We can see who is destined to go on this journey."
(It is highly recommended that you start your character here but if you don't the Tomberries Three can still find you. It will just be most beneficial to the story if we start here.)

Ooh aah... It's been a while since I've been as interested in an rp as I am this one.
Having difficulty deciding on my race though... So many choices @_@ it's overwhelming...
So far I'm stuck between the following: Demon Wall (Totally impractical but hilarious nonetheless), Tonberry, Zu, and Mimic...
I'd like to say that I love the way you threw this together. How long did it take to come up with all of this? Loving the backwards names too.  Will we ever get to go to Arips? or possibly meet a few DeeS? I could go on forever with this. XD

It just happened one night when I was thinking about what the FF world would be like to a monster.
And we may very well go to those places... But I have NO idea what you mean by the backwards names.... But some things like the "Citadel" etc are new stuff that I will just be making up. And some names won't be a simple as being backwards.
I know there are a lot of choices in the races. so I understand your situation. I picked a bomb simply because of teh naming potential.

Name: Chester
Race: Mimic
Gender: Male
Reason: A master of disguise.
Personality: Chester is very friendly to anyone that isn't trying to take his stuff. But he is very temperamental, and has difficulties calming down.
Bio: Chester is a mimic that would easily fall for his own tricks. He has an inexplicable attraction to shiny and valuable things. However, he is very cautious about his actions, sometimes too cautious. This makes him very good at sneaking around, but he is very slow at it, for he refuses to take risky moves without getting at least double in reward. Chester also seems to change is attitude based on the form he's in. And vice versa. So, if he is a lion, he will tend to act proud, and if he is proud, he will tend to morph into a lion. Just as an example.
Magic: Transform (Allows Chester to take the shape of any object he has seen and can remember. Limited by size.), Calling (Chester can teleport living beings that are within 100 yards to his location. Requires target's consent [Meaning they can refuse]. This costs a significant amount of Chester's MP, but it only costs if the spell is successful.) (Yes, these are based on abilities mimics have had throughout the FF series.)

The Tomberries three start walking down through the people, and then their lamp starts flickering. They walk back and look at eachother.
A coin flips up into the air on it's own and says, "What is the delay?"
'Ah, a cursed copper that must be the Order Keeper, Lo Ke.', thinks Ms. C4.
The Tomberries three mutter something.
"Everybody's not here yet?! I am sure that everybody that is coming is here, come on, get on with it, you lazy bums!", says Lo Ke.
A black chocobo with a slightly cracked beak and an eyepatch on one eye flies in and lands.
"You!? Why are you here? Do we have a message or something, Herm?", asks Lo Ke.
"No. I came to volunteer for the war effort", says the Herm,"Anyone can, right?"
"Yes but why? You are the highest ranking messenger of all the kingdoms! Why would you do such lowly work?", asks Lo Ke.
"Che. Message delivery for people the rank I was supposed to be delivering to became obsolete when the DIC started teleporting a few years back. So I just get paid to sit on my tail feathers, it isn't right. Where's the struggle?", says Herm.
The Tomberries look and nod to themselves, then those Tomberries Three head out through the crowd, looking them over one by one.
A Tonberry in the crowd yells,"I'm your biggest fan you guys!"
The Tomberries ignore it and continue on.

Spike stands near the crowd of people jogging on the spot
"ooh, peoples, i wonders what theys doing? must be something for so many peoples to be here..."
Spike notices the tonberries three wandering through the crowd seeming to be randomly pointing at people who then seem quite happy with themselves.
"they make people feel good by pointing at them...COOL."
Spike dashes over to the tonberries knocking several people over in the process including the tonberry who had called out earlier. Spike jogs on the spot in front of the middle tonberry.
"POINT AT ME TOO! PLEASSSSE"

The Tomberries Three look at Spike curiously and point at him then. A great pyre erupts upward from the lantern and a loud voice comes from the fire.
"This one is critical to the mission. He must come at least in the beginning or we are doomed. There are others like him; others that are just as critical, prepare rooms for them. There are as many as 10, but no fewer than three. The Three in One has spoken", says the fire, and then it returns to the lantern.
'Whoa, that was crazy', thinks Ms. C4 seeing it from where she is on the other side of the area.

There Chester sat, in his favorite form. Among the creatures of Ecilavi, only the humans would be so rude as to disrupt the sanctuary of a treasure chest. He wasn't with the crowd formed to assist with the effort, but rather on a slightly raised platform a ways back from the crowd. He was only interested in what would happen, not quite in helping out. He'd been bored anyhow so what harm could come from checking something out?
Many thoughts crossed his mind while he sat there. And at first he thought that the three tonberrys were a conjoined triplet. but then the obvious truth hit him: 'Nope, definitely not...'
'There sure are a lot of species gathered here.'
'I wonder what exactly is going to happen here.'
'I'm hungry.'
'This is getting dull.'
'Oh hey look, something is happening!'
'Ooh, shiny.'
'Wow I think that Cactuar is like.. mental or somethi- Oooh, shiny!'
Chester was then mesmerized by the large fire. He felt a tingling inside him, it made him want to burn things. Everything. He had been having strange dreams lately, and somehow seeing that great pyre reminded him of an image he had tried so hard to forget. An image of all of Ecilavi ablaze. The vision was so disturbingly vivid, it scared him half to death.
Even after the Pyre dissipated Chester continued to glare mindlessly at the spot it had been in.

The tomberries get to a tonberry and say, in unison,"This one is not fit to carry on here. Get him out straightaway, his destiny is against us, not for us."
"WHAT!? I am you biggest fan, a fellow tonberry, and you treat me like this?!", says the tonberry angrily holding up a knife.
"We are the Tomberries three. We are not Tonberry. We are a specific species all of our own. We are objective. We do not judge based on our on subjective needs. We have no emotion. We do not care if you feel betrayed. You are not destined to come. You shall not come. You are destined to go against us. Unless you go against your destiny, we shall kill you", says the Tomberries Three in unison.
"Lets see you try!", says the Tonberry as he rushed them, seeing as they were up close, with his knife.
The Tomberry lantern glew and what looked like a combination of protect and reflect spells came from the lantern, bouncing the physical damage of the knife being stabbed into one of the Tomberries back into the Tonberry instead, killing it instantly.
"Enemy defeated. Judgment will continue", say the Tomberries Three in unison.
They continue on and Herm the chocobo, a prideful looking being, bows before them, some people who had heard of him gasp at the sight.
"Yes. You must go as well. You are critical. Vital. But there is something... Something is different. No time to dwell in detail. You should be prepared a room", say the Tomberries Three.
"Hey now! Hold on a sec! I don't know what the king thinks your magic destiny thing is, but try it on me, I command you, because I think you are just making this crap up", says Lo Ke, who had been following them the whole way, though relatively unnoticed.
"We need not waste our time we must press on", say the Tomberries Three in unison.
"No no no! I demand it!", says Lo Ke, then he strikes at them by flipping himself at them, bouncing off and leaving a small bloody spot, the lantern not reacting to him.
"Ugh. Fool. You are lucky the lantern seeks mercy on you. We shall tell you your destiny", say the Tomberries three and they think," Ah we see. This is why the lantern is merciful on you. You have enough darkness and sorrow in your future. We need not increase it here. Your life from here on shall be a spiraling abyss of torture and pain, be it physical or otherwise. Depression and ,eventually, madness, shall be your bed fellows. Now... who is next?"
The Tomberries three stand before a certain Mimic now...

It took a little while for Chester's mind to wander back to reality, and when it did he realized that the trio stood before him.
"Eh? Um..."
A green arm reaches from the right side of the chest and waves hello.
"Hi there. Um, how did you know that I'm a mimic? Just curious. Did I do something suspicious?"
