camping means i sit around all day, eat food, and swim in the lake. Charging my phone only happens once a day since 7 people have to share an outlet.
And i do use sunscreen. It's 90+ SPF and i make sure to reapply every 80 minutes. I just burn like paper. I never tan, just burn. But after I'm done peeling, I get a "nice tan" as my mother calls it. I don't care if it's nice or not, I don't want it.
@caby: prolly for the same reason that europe used to be the center of the map. XD

well yeah, peeling takes a while. XD
I'm in that stage right now. Though, thanks to my eczema, it goes by a lot faster than most people. My skin's used to peeling. One of the very few perks. XD
I'm planning on getting off as much as possible when i shower tomorrow morning before I go into public. I need to get a new emergency inhaler. -_-
I really think i need some grocery stuff, but my parents will complain if i buy food. They always forget to buy food for me when they go shopping, even if i give them a list of stuff I would like to have; but god help us all if i actually go out and get it for myself.
I mean, i get that i don't have a summer job and that's hurting my bank account a little, but i plan on earning a good chunk of it back over this next school year. I'm gonna take up a part-time job this semester, and I don't really do much while I'm down there. I spend about 20 bucks every few weeks on food and maybe 50 bucks on gas every month assuming I don't drive all the way back home too often.
The reason i barely made any net savings with Jewel was because it paid for my gas to get to MCC (40 minutes away) and mchenry to see my friends (20 minutes away). The furthest i'd have to drive is 10 minutes down there.
So making back the 400-500 bucks i'm probably going to spend before school starts up again shouldn't take too terribly long. Plus, i still have money left over from financial aid from last semester. I'm slowly heading down to being below the 4k mark again, but i've been lower and survived just fine (though i get a bit on edge).
.......and now i've realized that typed too much. probably because i'm tired. XD

And my skin takes a while; probably cos my eczema isn't as widespread. Still, didn't help when I went to the gym and started sweating a lot.... Ended up having pockmarked skin all over my arms...

nope, you read that right, aruy. I usually just sneak food into the house when i go out. Right now, i'm down to some sandwich stuff, a jar of pickles, and a few more packets of shin ramyun. After that though, i'm gonna need to sneak some more in. I'm hanging out with a friend tomorrow, so i might do some minor shopping.
@caby: yeah, that happens to me a lot too.
Apparently, i'm not as done peeling as i thought i was. the burn on my arm was larger than i thought it was and my burn on my face was just harsher.

My family is often out of the house until around dinner-time or later. So I'm on my own for lunch/ mini-meals.
My parents buy food on a day-to-day basis with maybe some stocked up stuff in between. But the stocked stuff is rarely something that i can just eat by itself so I've had to get creative a few times.
Remember when i said i was eating a can of jellied cranberries? That was one of the stocked foods. I'm down to a bunch of green beans and some re-fried beans now; none of which i really want to eat.
My mom just complains that i don't tell her (even though i do), but i heard her talking when we were camping. She thought she was being quiet but she wasn't. -_-
apparently, she's often forgets that I'm here because she got used to me not being around.
I think she gets frustrated when she realizes that she forgot about me and that's why she gets angry when she sees I bought more food.
