Possible confirmed date?
Apparently Gamestop's come up with a shipment date for the game.
It's still a really long ways from now  but at least there's hope xD
The date's set to June of 2010

If you take into account the date for the Japanese release date of FF XIII (17th December 2009), then take the average from the amount of time it took for FF XII, X, and IX, then you'll get an estimate of around May 1st in America and July 15th in Europe.

This. Seriously this is one of the most irritating things I've ever seen the gaming industry do. I remember back in the day when they wouldn't even let on that the game even existed until they had a release date... 
Bugs the sh*t out of me that they have to tease everyone about the release nowadays. I mean, from a marketing standpoint it's not a bad idea, builds up a lot of anticipation for the game, so more people will buy it on launch day. But on the other hand, with all of the advancements in technology lately, the release dates are getting pushed back more than ever, and causing the reverse effect. After the game has been announced and three years pass without release, people will lose interest in it.

Hahaha, nice dude. I remember when I first learned to type like that, I still have to look to find strange things like "';[]/.,=-\|+*@!#^&)( and numbers as well, but I can do 99% of the letters my myself, there's like one or two that I occasionally forget about, like Q or Y, especially V and X. But believe me when I say this: being taught how to do it by a "professional" is not a good way to do it. I went to typing classes to learn, and I came out knowing essentially where the home row is and that's it... You're better off learning by yourself. Between IM and PC gaming, I've learned everything I know about how to type swiftly. I still hand write faster than I type but I type much faster than I ever have before. And besides, my handwriting is illegible...
As far as FFXIII is concerned, I have actually begun to give half a f*** about it. Did some research on the story and characters and it actually seems a lot more interesting than the trailers gave it. I still firmly believe that Versus will be better, and am holding out for it, and will probably just use FFXIII as a way to tide me over until the release of Versus.
