I don't claim to be a Democrat or Republican, Both sides have their issues and strong points. but i have to say the growing up in the clinton era i actually felt good about where our country was going economically, like i actually had a chance to be whatever i wanted to be, and not feel guilty about it! now days i try and imagine the future, only to end up sad and longing for the old days to repeat themselves.

well, he couldn't legally seek a new term
even if he could have ran, he probably wouldn't have won
ppl were a bit disallusioned with the lewinski scandal
that is y even though the country in 2000, as a whole, wanted al gore in power, state by state the margin was closer to bush

60% of the court was conservative, many of florida's high officials were conservative, & media outlets were continuously awarding the presidency to bush
