Poetry
Here's something I did when I was a little down. I was listening to "Zanarkand" off of the FF X Soundtrack, and this was what came to mind.
On a stage, at my piano, I play a song.
A sad song, of woe and regret.
They applause, but they do not speak.
My melody chokes them,
Their words become lost.
“Why do you play?” they ask.
“Why do you play such a sad song?”
I play because I am sad.
I play because I am angry.
I play to remember.
I play to forget.
I play to feel.
I play to regret.
I play to know
That I am human.
I play to realize
A life is more precious.
And more precious is life itself
Than the entire world.
That is why play.
And so the cycle goes.
On stage, at my piano, I play a song.
A sad song, of woe and regret.

Thanks. For some reason, if I try too hard to do something, it comes out like crap. But, if I'm emontioal about something, or my personal feelings get into it, words just flow. If you read this while listening to that song, the opening kinda matches up until a point. Creepy, no?

Yeah I'm the same way. I can't sit down and make myself write. Or even try to for that matter. I never take more than 10 minutes to write a poem. For the sake of keeping it emotional.
yeah It did match up. I listened to the song while reading.

See, everything I do, wheter it's for one of my projects or anything, I alsways have music, and 99.99% of the time, it matches the mood of my peice. Unless it's a really GOOD song, I hafta change it or it'll ruin the mood of the peice and my frame of mind.

i concur. It is very emotional, but i cant listen, because my cousin is stupid and shoved a cookie in the cd player, and the DVD player too. well, at least she didn't cram a dozen cookies in the VCR, like Buddy the Elf.
