Road Of Life
As I walk down the road of life,
I look back into my past,
I see many things that i will never tell,
I see the time I ran away,
I think i ran because i was mad,
My parents got really sad,
I see the time i hurt that kid,
I did it and im sorry,
I wish I could go back,
And show him life's ok,
But that was then,
I can not change the things I've done,
I once thought you where the one,
Then i saw you with him,
The light in my heart got very dim,
As i stand on the road of life,
I see my futures hazy,
Maybe i should end it now,
Maybe i should end it, How?
I know better,
I need to keep going,
I turned around for one last look,
I see all the good things in my life
The time i got that shiny car,
And the time i got a house,
I keep on going foreword while i keep looking back,
I see my first kiss,
And all the time we shared,
I also see the time you made that promise,
Yous said we would always be friends until the very end,
I turn and look foreword,
Vowing never to look back,
Im standing on the road of life,
With you as my best friend.
