PM
I am not sure if this is the right place to start this topic…
Anyways… I’ve been receiving few PMs in the past days, but I am unable to replay because I don’t have enough karma. An announcement appears declaring that people who have less than twenty karmas cannot send PMs. I don’t have a problem with that for I haven’t tried to PM anyone… but being unable to replay to people is starting to annoy me a little...

You have 12 days to go and then you can reply to them  Sorry for the annoyance, but that feature is to prevent spammers from registering multiple accounts to pm spam. Perhaps I can also add a new message that appears to the sender notifying them that the person cannot reply for at least 20 days.

Yeah, thats probably a good idea. Especially since you don't know whether a person is not replying because they don't want to, or can't.

20 does seem a bit extreme. If people are coming here to spam they're not even going to stay for 10 days to get 10 karma. Maybe lower it to 10 karma?

Yeah this is a great idea for spam but 20 karma for pming is harsh I agree and 30 or more karma just to post so now I have to wait 3 minutes or so just to post between arn't we getting a little harsh here maybe 10 for pming or 20 for posting just a thought here. And whats with the access ads lately they never used to be right in the box when you write a message But then again if someone wanted somthing they could make a new topic about it. Anyway just my 2 cents here

10 for PMs and 20 for posting would sound reasonable to me- usually its people who spam, more than PM.

It was never at 3 minutes or so, it was at 50 seconds which has also been lowered for new users.

well I wasn't really sure it was a rough estimate FuN anyway im almost at the needed karma for posting so no worries.  . I should have never left lol I was almost at 200 karma this time im not leaving I like this website to much  why leave eh? I see my fav icon is still here good to know
