Please help

Hi there

I need help please with this...
I am in Pharos, in the tower right now, first F (first ascent, The wellspring)... I don't know what to do lol... the way stone in the beginig is not working and I don't know how to make it work... I found 7 (not sure) of those carven pillars with ancient letters on them, but I don't think it has something to do with that stone... I also killed like 4 of these monsters called "mimeo" but nothing happened... oh and there is this locked door, how do I open it ?
And please tell me how many floors are there, someone told me they are 100 OMG lol.

it's not really a 100

you start on 1 then go to like 43
also..you need to get 2 dark orbs

there's a labrynth to the left and right of the waystone and you go north to get around to the other sides and activate these other stones w/the dark orbs

ALSO....very important....when you have a choice of 4 waystones pick the altar of knowledge...which is purple...it seals the mini map
the others seal magic/attack or items

You need the black orbs that some creatures drop to open the locked door.

You need to put the orbs in some pillars or something.
