Playstation 2's official magazine.. (please save us all!)
ok lol I just spent $15 on the Official U.S. Playstation Magazine and I'm sooo disappointed about it! lol I bought it because of the cover (had KH2!!!) and featured some info on kh2 (not that I hadn't heard about it liiiiiiike half a year ago but I wanted the pictures lol I know kinda dumb reason to buy it for $15 just cause of like a few pictures lol) sooo I was flipping through it and hoping to you know find maybe some good new or old games and there was like NONE! The games were almost the same! here's a list!
List:
1. Zombie type stuff
2. sports (including racing)
3. shooting games
4. killing like pointless stuff)
(there was only a few RPGs that actually sounded good liiiike Genji lol the pretty art caught my eye! lol)
and surprisingly since its the "Official" magazine they really didn't release alot of information on games that are about to release unlike Japan and everywhere else. lol weeeellll thanks to practically every page that I went had a least 2 or 1 picture of zombies I'll probably be having nightmares tonight lol sadly... lol I swear people shouldn't let me outta the house lol I buy things for the most randomest and dumbest reason! if it was once in a while sure no problem but lol I do it ALLLLLLLLL the time lol (btw the pictures I wanted from the magazine I had already seen LOL) lol I don't even think its worth the $15 for the demo disk lol cause most of the demos in it I'm to scared to play lol sooo its just kinda sitting in there lol
before I babble more about this lol tell me what you think of this magazine whether you have bought it or not lol annnnd anything else you'd like to comment on lol

I never buy magazines anymore. I just read it all on teh net. Official mags aren't a good buy, they are generally more expensive and have a limited amount of info. I used to buy official nintendo mags (when I had an N64 and a game boy) but the unofficial ones were always so much better in terms of reviews and news.
Maybe you should unleash your wrath on the magazine company.

you see I wanted to buy an unofficial but I wasn't sure if they had anything on KH2 annnnd most of them had girls like wearing bikini's on the cover sooo I figured I should stear clear from those ones lol

The official Nintendo mag used to be really good, but it starting going downhill a little before the N64 release. There was a change of management, I think. I stopped buying all game mags around that time; none of them are as good as the NES-SNES era magazines.

When I bought magazines, and read their reviews and opinions (by the writers) I believed them. Once in a magazine which covered all the consoles (N64, ps2, psx etc) gave their opinions on the next gen consoles. And they said the Gamecube will "rock".
Not long after that I stopped buying those stupid magazines and their false promises.

lol this was my first time buying on lol you would think since its official it would have alot of information on games lol
buuuut 2 good things did come outta this I got pretty pictures of KH2 annnnnnnnnd I saw the trailer for Advent children on my tv annnnd it looked reallly really really really good!!!! I love it!!! like seriously if you thought it looked good on the computer it looks soooo much better on tv!! I loove it!!! I was playing it over and over again lol

i used to subscribe to the Official Playstation Magazine.
after seeing a game get a score of 8/10 (or whatever their rating system was...) i went out and bought the game..
unfortuantely the game was HORRIBLE and really the only good ting about it was its combat engine. but the story actually made you stupider if you paid attention and the clichie's were in the hundreds
<Hero>"Here ill give you the stone you need to destroy the earth for my girlfriend back."
<Hero>"ok i gave you the stone... what? now you are killing her instead of giving her to me?"
*rescues her at the last second*
*gets the next stone*
*bad guy appears again and kidinaps girl again*
<Hero>"What you will give my my girlfriend back if i give you the stone that allows you to destroy the earth? ok!"
<hero>"Ok here is the stone, can i have my girl friend back? no dont throw her into the lava!"
*Fake emotional moment that involves me cursing at my TV at how lame the game is*
*Collected all the stones*
<Hero>"Ok team time to head to the bad guy so we can defeat him and make sure he doesnt destroy the earth... i will also bring along the last stone that he needs rather than hiding it somehwere. so that after we beat him i can put them together and become a god or something."
*get to the bad guy*
<Hero>"AHA, one of your allies is a traitor, GIVE ME THE FINAL STONE"
*Suspicious looking ally that i never used because i thought he would betray me grabs the stone from the maincharacter who has a confused look on his face and gives it to the bad guy*
<hero>"NOOOOO"
*bad guy turns into huge creature iniating final battle*
<hero>"We destroyed all 4 of his forms, each of which mislead us into thinking that we had won after we beat."
*takes all the stones*
<hero>"I wish for my girlfriend to be alive again"
<Girlfriend> "I love you.. lets have lots of babies in our home town!!!"

not to put you down man, but you took the joke too far. only for future reference though. still very tru about most games today. story has more to do with any game than anything else... character development is a close second in my book tho, then battle system and customization.

lol nooo!! never!! teen magazines are so dumb lol I mean the whole thing is like what? advertisements on beauty products that I'd never use! and clothing that have sooo little fabric that I would rather die then wear lol one of my friend made me read one of those one time and I didn't understand a word in it about dating and stuff lol the only thing I did get was that a jean jacket from some store costed like $500 lol
my choise in magazines are anime/manga stuff from japan that talks about what's new and the culture, cooking ones (its fun cooking the recipes they give you lol), sewing (its surprising how many tricks you could do to make things look pretty lol) and random ones about animals lol
LOL that was funny Thor lol that's really lame though lol I think I'd throw that game into a fire if I played it lol
