Played this for the first time
All i can say is "Meh" its not that great, not really bad but nothing that makes me go "wow!" like the devil may cry series and god of war did. Im not saying its a sucky game, its actually pretty good for Squenixe's first venture into FPSs. it has some minor things that irritate me as noobish mistakes. My biggest beef was the lock on system, its clunky and you can mess it up pretty easily. for me its a rental title, no way i would pay $50 bucks for the game (which unfortunately my friend did) if it ever came out in the bargain bin for $10 i may pick it up. The graphics were good but graphics don't make the game, gameplay does.
It receives a  out of a possible on my rating scale.

i think its quite cool game but to be fair nothing will live up tothe expectations because we will allways compoare them to ff7

I think that it was a fun game, and i payed $50 for it, and don't regret it. Its got pretty good replay value in my opinion, but compared to any actual final fantasy, well...lets just not compare a venture game to an rpg.

I thought it was pretty good. But then I didnt go into it looking at it like an rpg but expected it to be a shooter and thats what you get. Besides seeing some background on Vincent is pretty interesting.

I enjoyed what I got of the game... the experience system was poop, the reticle was poop (i want my bullets to go where I aim, screw an "accuracy" rating) the graphics and story were amazing but it took me less then a dozen hours to beat.... just made me really mad since I payed 52.99 for the game...

The game was alot better than god of war. In god of War i got bored in 10 minutes. i even liked it better than Resident Evil 4. It did kinda live up to it's standards but not the standards of regular final fantasy games. But it was pretty fun, and the graphics were pretty solid, so im not complaining.
