Piracy!
Do you or would you ever support piracy?
In the Philippines, piracy has become a part of....life here. Since most people aren't that rich, they usually buy cheaper, pirated versions of movies, games, clothes, bags, etc. I admit that I too, have bought from "pirates". Have you?

im not going to lie,
i dont buy the stuff, because i dont technically agree with piracly!
but...
i regularly download movies and Cds etc to test them,
if there crap, i wont buy it, but everything i download that i like, i own for real too!

i have to say i do this too.
i also make copies of my other movies (old ones usually) and put them on an external hard drive but i never put those online or anything.

im not a fan of pirated things either...if its something i want, i like to own the proper item as it was intended.
though downloading is a lot cheaper for things id never buy

it would be great if i could play every wii/ds/ps2 game & listen to every jpop cd, but i can't (legally)

downloading is against the law. i was told that when you buy something, its not so much the (lets say)game you buy, but more the distribution contract (although, in a very real sense, you get the game)
when you buy a game, you are pretty much signing a contract saying that you will not share the contents of this illegally with anyone.
p.s, i never pirated either

my parents bought dvd's from the gypsy market here, but i hate them, their pirated, but that's not why, the quality just sucks big time...
i don't buy any pirated items, but i do download, mainly because a lot of things i like isn't for sale here, language problems, or overpriced compared to other countries, and i wouldn't be able to afford it, or a game that's not for sale anymore because it's too old (FF8)
i mainly download music, because i can't find any good cd's around here, i honestly looked everywhere, and all i can find is stinking (c)rap, and portuguese fado (makes dogs howl)
and i'm a great fan of music, couldn't live without it...
and some bands aren't known in europe (yet) so i download their cds because there wouldn't be another way of getting them...
then there's anime, i like my anime like i like my women, natural and japanese.
you can't get all the anime here, and if you can they're dubbed...
but i wouldn't sell anything i've downloaded... that's for sure...
