Yes, because gravity is everywhere. electromagnitism, Strong interaction and weak interaction is everywhere. However, no one has been able to relate the two groups. The speculating began when a scientist serving as a world war 1 soldier began theorizing on his spare time. He thought of a situation where we take the sun and it's huge mass and condense it into a very tiny point. The idea is how forces work at that level. Large objects like ths sun and planets are subject to gravity, but very small objects like an atom is subject to EM, Strong and weak. His idea generally outline a black hole where a huge amount of mass is condensed into something at the atomic level.

But gravity is an odd ball as it "plays" more than the others... I think. By plays I mean, that it changes more while the other forces are more constant in the way they change. I could be wrong as this is half remembered stuff... It is fun to listen to someone else explain it and try to grasp what they are intending you to hear. So Lucky, which theory holds the most value to you? Which do you think will come out on top? String, many worlds, others that I couldn't possibly know?

How does gravity change?
Now, if you follow string theory and believe that gravity exists in 10 dimentions then maybe it changes (I don't know), but so far I'm sticking with what I do know write now and that's Newton's Law of gravity.
Now, as special relativity has shown us, there could be a piece in the equation that has gone unnoticed, but we have not encountered yet. Perhaps if gravity becomes big enough it will begin to show some effect just like when an object's velocity becomes big enough those small things we've been ignoring will show themselves.
