Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney
I personally am in love with these games. I wanted to know what all of you think about any of the games.

Should I go out on a limb and assume that no one has played any of the Phoenix Wright games?

Wooo! How many of the games have you played? I've only played and beaten number 1.

I haven't beaten any 'cause my friend owns them. I've tried the first and second one though.
My friend never lets me finish.

This is like the most awesome game on earth when it comes to puzzles and storylines. Seriously.
I play them in Japanese though, because I'm uncertain about whether the American translations live up to the awesomeness which is Gyakutensaiban.
I've played all four, but my favorite is by far the third game.

I need to get the second and Third games. The fourth will hit America in February. Is Apollo Justice pretty good?

Well, in Apollo Justice, the first and fourth (and final) cases are intertwined and are together really good (the fourth one is exceptionally good), although nothing will beat 3's fifth and final case because it is just too awesome to be beat and really sums up a lot of stuff really well. Apollo Justice takes an interesting turn as it occurs seven years after the third game. It was also interesting that they had a court case * within the fourth court case. Overall, if you like the series, you'll probably like it (although the second and third cases are kind of...).
I do recommend you try them in order though. I didn't get to play the first game until I was done with the third, which kind of sucked (but the last case more than made up for it!). The second one has good cases but nothing that really stands out, and the third one just has tons of awesomeness and is concluded by the most complex and awesome court case on earth.
I say they're all darn good. Even the first one which didn't have too many good court cases had the last one to make up for it. Play them all!

I loved the last case in the first game, it was pretty good.
I have wanted to get the second game because it is kind of inexpensive, but I really want the third game after hearing all of these great things about it.
By (.....) I assume you mean that a couple of the cases in Apollo aren't that good?
