well, when the game was released it had certain style disks and then a while ago (idk when) the case was changed along with the disks

I do, it and nuclear strike were my first two games i got with my first playstation for christmas back in the ninties.
I take care of my disks. I must admit there are a few light surface scruffs, but nothing serious.
I can't really believe the game is this dated to deserve a thread like this. Man it feels like just yesterday when i first started playing it while eating hershey kisses from my xmas stocking. Man those were the days.

yea, my disks are almost perfect the case is kinda bad tho lol.....i started playing ff7 when my big bros showed it to me when i was about 6...
the first thing i ever did on that game was when my bro was like "just a sec i gotta go get the strat guide (it was the code for the big materia in the space ship) and when he left i wanted to play a bit and i pressed a few buttons and he lost the big materia......he was mad at me lol........the good days

Anyone know where i can buy it other then ebay cause i looked everywhere from where i live and i still can't find the thing! my little cousin who's only 14 has VII through X-2 already (green with envy now) By the way i live in frisco

You might try toys r us but the odds of finding an original copy are slim. I think they've put out a few greatest hit editions. You'll probably end up getting one of those if you find it.
Might try your local pawn shops too. I remember seeing several copys at mine.
