Nice, I just finished disc 1 last night
Remember when you get to the rollercoaster looking train tracks before Corel to hold a direction and hit O repeatedly then hit the other direction and hit O repetedly while when you fall through the cracks to get both items.
When Yuffie steals your materia and hides in Wutai, first she's in the old dudes house to the right of the entrance behind some foldy wall towards the top of the house, then she's in the pot outside the turtle paradise.
There are 6 turtle paradise flyers around the world - if you read all 6 and return to turtle paradise in Wutai you'll get one of each source (guard, power, etc) and a megalixer:
1- little kids room in midgar - (the kid with the coins hidden in between the top and bottom drawer)
2- Shinra lobby
3- cosmo canyon weapons shop
4- cosmo canyon inn
5- Gold Saucer Ghost Hotel
6- yuffies basement

Quadra magic works with summons, however it doesn't work with Knights of the round. You can get Quadra magic by using the highwind glitch on disk 2 
Just youtube Quadra Magic Glitch and watch the first video
With this you don't need to raise a chocobo one little bit xD
