Well I'm suppose to post tis on Final fantasy tactics but ok. Here's how to get Cloud Strife in FF Tactics.
1st go to Zeltennia Castle and listen to rumour 'Cursed Island'.
Then,buy a flower from Aeris at Zarghidas City.
Then go to Goug Machine City with Mustadio in party.
Then go to bar in Golan Coal City and listen to rumour 'Ghost of Colliery'.
After dat,go to Lesalia Imperia,and invite Beowulf to join party (he's really strong>Temple Knight,later u can keep him in party).
Then go to Goland Coal city back and fight 4 battles continuosly.
At da final battle,u gotta save Reis da dragon>then u'll get a zodiac stone.
Return to Goug Machine City and there's a scene (funny one),invite Robot worker to join party.
Then go to Nelvaska Temple (can gain access if followed correctly) and kill Robot.
After killing it,Reis will turn into a pretty chick>Beowulf's GF.
Go back to Goug Machine City>>Cloud will b transferred through dimension travel to FF Tactic.
Then go to Zarghidas Trade City to save Cloud and Aeris.
After dat! Wala! Invite Cloud (u can't invite Aeris) and check out his skills.
Oh yea reminder,Cloud wont b able to use his materia skill. You gotta find his Buster sword right on top of da highest peak in Bervennia Volcano>>u gotta hav Move-Find Item skill junction.
Phew,hoped I explained everything abt how to get Cloud. Happy playing!

its not true, i mean some people lie n stuff, just because hes your friend doesnt means hes not a liar.
i had a friend who i thought was like my mentor and i was extremelly disapointed off him, he told me he found a way to keep zephirot from killing aerith lol mayor lie, the only way to keep her is througth gameshark codes and she bugs half the game scenes, althougt there are some scenes were she has movement scripts n stuff but some she doesnt. (yhea that's weird but he did lie, its not like he really did and no one else did lol) he also told me he got the 100% ending in ff8 when he never did, and he even invented an ending for that lie.
i had FFT and it had a cherry blosom limit break that was his highest like 1, 2 or 3 above ominslash i think, but i never got to learn it. btw i have a save file of it, im gonna tell u guys what it looks like in a while...
so no, unless haine comes n says so no its not true.
(why? because she knows japanese so she might be the only one here that ever played the ff7 japanese version)
and also.... please note that, there was a second FF version, the one that u could see right into the data that was like a FF with a complete walkthrought inside of it. I saw a report on it of over 10 minutes and they said there was NOTHING new "or" hidden, only secrets like how to see the Zack scenes and Vincent's n stuff like that, getting the round materia, no hidden or secret limit breaks.

k i unlocked it, took me only 4 hours of gameplay after the part i saved at.
Before i say anything about it id like to express somethings.
1- Cherry Blossom exists (FFT)
2- We already know its not on FF7, 99% sure its not in the japanese v either.
K, i tried all the moves, and only a few have the same animation has in FF7, like braver, omnislash is like a boom n a small flash lol, nothing like the FF7 limit looks like, Finish Touch looks crappy, a crystal breaking on top of their heads.
for Cherry Blossom, one thing stands out, its nothing like he said, well omni sure isnt like in FF7 but still cherry blossom from FFT didnt proved him right. Its just a boom, a cloud of explosions around an area target and a huge crystal shatering on the target's head. lol
So, i was thinking, remember the limit Cloud uses to finish Zephiroth in A.C.? its none of the FF7 (or tactics) ones, so it should be what Cherry Blossom really looks like.
So in other words either A- Cloud gets into Ivalice before getting Cherry Blossom and before curing his stygma, so he learns it while in Ivalice or B- wich isnt possible, he gets transported into ivalice after the fight with Zephiroth, wich means he doesnt has the stygma anymore when he meets the Ivalice flower girl n starts having Stygma headaches (this would mean the squaresoft guys fuked up, wouldnt be weird but they got lucky, A n C seem to be able to cover up, kind off)
or C- wich is kinda "fantasyed" it all hapened while cloud was in the lifestream. but it can kinda explain, specially the 12 knights summon materia too lol. ^_^U
But i still dont think the japanese version had what you say it has.
