Old Gamez ROCK
ya know with the PS3 comin out we gamers tend to forget the past, like all the playstation games. just cause they are old doesnt mean they are bad and just because the new games have great graphics doesnt mean they are the best. i prefer to play the old FF games and old RPG games rather than the new ones. i mean the new FF games look great but is the gameplay and story line enough to live up to our expectations?

I was just saying guys i mean the pre-playstation ones were good too, but gamers are forgetting how great the games used to be and are focusing on the graphics more than the storyline and game play

Exactly my thought, FF7 was lacking on graphics but an AWESOME game ff8 was great on the storyline and graphics

mmmn, that was back when Gameplay>Graphics.
FFVII is more about Story and Graphics, the gameplay was also awesome, but it really focused more on the story and graphics.
man, i cant wait for those games to be made available for the Wii (FFI-VI) its going to rock so hard.
Give me Classic Final Fantasy, and every zelda game made, and im good for a year.

i just want to play the old games ya know? they have the best game play that they have thought of and they try to out do themselves but make it worse. i mean FF XI for example is really bad

Ya know 9 is SO underrated....the character yeah theyre a little different from what you expect in FF games....like Steiner whos just plain dumb...and Quina whos the most annoying of them all...but in context they all work fantasically well! The narrative is typical for FF really...the sub systems in the game are great yet people seem to think 9 is not that good! If youve played it all the way through without mixing and matching other FF games with the playing time its a great game and i get hooked on it easy.
Final Fantasy 8 is just...for its day amazing, but now its not really talked about very often, again i dont see why! Characters are the best out of all the FF games...well maybe 10 is better character and plot wise.
Final Fantasy 7 - I first got this game and was like ..........OMG! Still many years on im like..........OMG! Thats all there is to say...and.....VINCENT VALENTINE! PRAISE YOU HOLY JAPANESE MASTER FOR HIS CREATION!

yah the ones on the nintendo were the greatest.
i wouldent define it as pre-sony, mainly because it has nothing to do with them. sony during the PS1 was like any other company, i dont like them NOW but back then they were awesome.
i like FFI-FFVIII FFIX i never finished, but i probably should one of these days. maybe in a few years when i buy a PS3slim ill download it and give it another go.

.... I may be a lil off but I concidered her to be better then anything pre-sony FF. Chrono-Trigger, swipe me for 'not FF' but hell that game was the best fun. Better then any of the other Pre-sony FF's I just loved it -go the frog- -go the ..... yeah the frog-

final fantasy XI was a decent game its obesessive in my opoinion but anyways chrono trigger, VI, VII, VIII and crono cross were my favs
