so... im mkaing up a list of games id like but im not all that happy about spending $60 for a new game so i want it to be something unique.
and ive been eyeing assassins creed since it came out but... is it unique? is the level of satisfaction lasting or will i be bored after the first couple hours of gameplay? how long is the game and is there a decent story at all?
pretty much what im asking, is there anything i can do in assassins creed that i cant already do in gta4?

In all honesty your probably better off just renting Assassins Creed. I didnt buy the game at full price but I still felt ripped off. The games basically doing the same thing over and over. Your given an assassination to do but have to find 3 out of 6 clues for where the person you want to assassinate is. I think theres about 7 assassinations in all but I havent finished the game as I just got bored of it.
Never know though you might enjoy it as I think there may be a good subplot going on to the story.
From my list of games I have id personally recommend Uncharted Drakes Fortune the most. Don't know why but its been overlooked a lot but I think its one of the best games ever. The demo on the PSN of it isnt the best though as you need to play it from the start really.

So guys can you tell me what the online capabilities are like for the PS3? I'm bound to get one at some stage, maybe after this semesters exams and I'm just curious.
Dont know what you mean by online capabilities but the PSN just runs so you have your own PSN ID and your always logged onto it. Each game then runs the online stuff on its own servers and in some cases theres achievements online in the form of online leaderboards and trophies etc all depending on the game of course.
The PS3 has wireless built into it as well for online.
There is also the PS Store which is very fast now as it recently got updated.
The online part of the PS3 is good enough for me anyway but I was never an online gamer before it though.

truth be told, its a lot better than i thought it would be.
a personal feature that i enjoy it the "players met" list where it lists anyone you have played online with in the last couple hours/sessions so that if you met some people randomly that were cool, there is a list so you can add them easily instead of trying to rack your brain and remeber their 17 character name lol.
