Nintendo Revolution Controller: Insane or Insane?

I think this deserves a third topic.

Right now everyone's talking about the Rev controller either in a negative way or a positive way.

Do you think it's possible that Nintendo is using an insane and risky trick?

Right now, I'm hearing left to right about the Rev controller and it's getting both positive and negative hype like crazy.

Do you believe this is Nintendo's way of killing ps3 and 360 hype?

If based on the way the discussions are going now, soon everyone will be wanting to get a Revolution just to try out and either pwn the people who says the Rev is great or slap Rev skeptics in the face.

Hell, i think everyone pretty much forgot about ps3 and 360 and only remember them when comparing the Rev to the two consoles.

i think its got the most potential of all the controllers to date. congrats to nintendo for being so inovative. they continue to surprise me and i hope they put it all to use in future games.

it can be used good. and be used poorly.

frankly nintendo is the only ONLY console where i dont care about the hardware. it could have the worst hardware in the nextgen, and i would still buy it simply because of ZELDA. (and mario)

Evil overboard?

I really do kind of like it. I think they it may still have some development to undergo before it's actual release, but I doubt nintendo would back something so heavily if they didn't think it would be a success.

if the controller stinks. im sure 3rd party controllers might look different.

its the same thing with the PS3. im sure 3rd parties will make a regular dual shock controller for it.

My country lay within a vast desert. When the sun rose into the sky, a burning wind punished my lands, searing the world. And when the moon climbed into the dark of night, a frigid gale pierced our homes. No matter when it came, the wind carried the same thing. Death. But the winds that blew across the green fields of Hyrule brought something other than suffering and ruin. I coveted that wind, I suppose." ~ Ganondorf.

well the revs controller is not completely new(the light gun) but it can be used for other things., but it is a definite improvement from the old, oh and by the way i've used it at a convention near me, it only had a demo designed for use of the controller and it works and its assume the anolouge plug in works flawlessly and there is no delay in pointing and you pressing and the rev reacting awesome.
