Nintendo DSI
 so Ive watched the Nintendo conference and saw the Nintendo DSI, it looks really cool it has an in built camera and music player also you can now store save files on the console itself as well as on the game cartridge and on SD cards it has a bigger screen and better audio quality. However they have taken out the GBA slot so that means no backwards compatibility (which kind of sucks seeing as a lot of games used dual cartridge features e.g. Pokemon diamond and pearl) you will also be able to download programs and tools from the DSI store using DSI points (basically you buy a WII pre-paid point card and then can choose to use those points on your wii or ds) until 2010 the first time you use the DSI store you will be given 1000 free points. one last thing is the DS zone which is a wi-fi type thingy that they will have in various McDonalds in Japan (with the DS zone you can download various free goodies) Everything downloaded will be stored in a system similar to the wii channel system.

Japan- November 1, 2008
Europe- Spring 2009
Australia - Spring 2009
North America - TBA 2009 (after April)

It looks cool, but now people can easily pirate games with the SD card and such. All they did was made a Nintendo version PSP, I'm kind of disappointed.
