New Video Cards
i found a deal i just couldent pass up:
Two Radion x1600 for $100 each.
meaning, i paid $200, for two $200 cards.
i LOVE buying hardware off of rich spoiled kids who get the "next best thing" so quickly.
this wasent online, my friend works with somone who was selling them.
the conversation went like this:
(me) "I can buy a x1300 for $120, normally a $180 card, from my job!"
(Him) "Yah well i can buy a x1600 for $100, normally a $230 card!"
(me) "Really? Hook me up bro!"
(him) "Its in a bundle, so $200 for two cards"
(me) "Even better, ill take em both"
now im broke, and i need a new motherboard, gotta wait till next thursday before i get my next paycheck so i can buy a Crossfire Motherboard with Dual PCI-E slots.
F**K yah, the preformance im getting with both of these cards is better than both the 360 Video card, and the video card in the PS3 (basicly a 7900GTX)
will i get the graphical quality over either of the consoles? Probably not, but i WILL get some amazing looking PC titles, (W00t im gonna play F.E.A.R finally!)

hrm, i need to find out WHICH version of the x1600's i am getting.. if they are the Cheepy x1600pro 256mb DDR ill be pissed.

W00t here they are, got them in my room, BONUS:
they have Silent-Pipe II fans/heatsink meaning they are quieter, and i can overclock em a little bit more.
hrm, apparently there isint a fan on this thing ANYWHERE.. i dont know how it works.. it just BETTER work, and better than a fan.. because if it doesnt... well then i guess im shelling out $100 for watercooling.
anyway.. PICS!
there are the cards, ill unbox them soon and show you the crazy ass cooling method.. and like i said, it better work, because heatsinks are old tech.
and here's a pic of my computer setup... my monitor is too big, i need an LCD to fit in that damn center better.
