no, in general the mod curse was that, the moment anyone active became a moderator, they stopped posting, they got busy with real life stuff, and eventually stopped going here

And believe it or not, I was wondering who might become a moderator last night.... And the first name that came to mind was yours.
As for the mod curse, I think Trooper is the one you should look to. He was a mod when he first joined, and he was re-appointed a mod after he came back.
