new psp and a question about it.
uhh well i heard that if u get a psp and dont do any updates you can download a few final fantasy games on to it. such as FF7. i was wondering if that was true? and if so HOW?!?!?

yes its true i have ff7 on my psp but to do so you need to hack your psp, I would tell you how to hack it but i dont actualy know how i work with a guy that has some special program that does it so he did it for me. I do know of a method to hack it is called pandaras battery but youll have to look it up. also along with the ability to get ps1 games you can also get any psp game but sadly hacking a psp isnt very legal.

I believe firmware 1.0 to 1.5 you could play "backup copies". the others require something called a pandora's battery or a well hacked script. the only downfall to hacking it is once its hacked, its hard to play the newer games. i suggest you get another psp to play with if your thinking of modding one.

You can download whatever games are on the PSStore on the PS3 without hacking it. Games like Crash Bandicoot, Wipeout and I think Xenogears is about the only RPG but there are some alright PS1 games on the store.
